They are a scam. Their system is insidious. I canceled my subscription the same day I signed up because they don’t offer fish on their menu. They still charged me and didn’t cancel my account. I had to call them to cancel, and they didn’t even refund because of ‘policy’. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE. Factor is a much better service with way better customer service. SCAM!

I found a small rock in my meal lost my appetite I had placed an order for a food months worth but I don’t trust eating the food that’s sitting on my fridge thank god I was able to catch the rock in my food before swallowing if I hand been chewing my food thoroughly I would’ve swallowed the rock that was in my meal it’s is huge health and safety concern

I was charged for an account I actively paused for an order I didn't place and meals I never received.. If you want to actually cancel you can't do it online, all they'll do is let you pause. To cancel and have your billing info removed you have to call and ask for that explicitly.

Don't just grab a meal plan because everyone else says it's good, they're all different. Tempo does have a big variety but it's MOSTLY CHICKEN which I guess if you like that you'll be good with that. I stayed with them for a month and while they offered different stuff every week it quickly got old for me anyhow. I'm a carboyhydrate fiend, and most of the meals come down to three things, chicken, broccolli/beans with some peppers for color and a variety of spicey, rice, you don't even get a little sweet nothing to finish your meal off with and stuff like potatos and corn are rare. If you get two meals a day you're paying almost two hundred dollars a week especially if you get some of the premium meals (i.e. steak) once in awhile. Yes, that's certainly cheaper than door dash and probably in line with what you spend at the grocery store for that many meals. I'm sure if you're an aged valley girl/yuppie you think this is great food, sorry I don't. It did fill me up, I do think the nutrition was good because I felt much better after I started their meals but the "taste" and "flavor" just wasn't there for me. To be fair I'm getting older and my tastebuds go on vacation a lot lately. There really wasn't anything that I looked forward to eating with them their steak offerings were good but the steak was smaller than a toddler's hand (barely four bites for 20+ dollars) and the rest of the stuff with it was just the same old stuff that had already turned me off.

I got a mailer for a discount. I've had several different subscription meals before. This is the worst interface of all. After attempting to select meals, I realized they didn't have enough variety that I'd like to stock a box, I attempted to cancel. There was no option on the website. I thought I'd just pause it for a few weeks and see if the meal offerings changed enough. However, 2 days later, my credit card is billed and I'm getting notifications of meals that I DID NOT CHOOSE being shipped to me. 3 of the meals have ingredients I cannot have, which I answered in the survey, and 2 of them are meals that I don't like. So, worthless. I immediately contacted them via chat to be told that they were closed and would create a ticket. A day later, I received an email asking how my email conversation with a CSR went. What email? Two days later and still no contact. I called today to ask the sub be cancelled because apparently you can't do that on your own online. The gentleman was very nice, but responded that he paused the sub. No!! I wanted this cancelled. I don't want to have to check in periodically to replace it on pause. He hummed for several minutes and then finally said my plan is cancelled, but would take up to 48 hours and I'd get an email confirmation. I asked to verify that I'm not going to get charged for another shipment as 48 hours is the due date for the next week selection. He stated no, cuz it's on pause. No confirmation number, no immediate processing. I thought the plan was paused, but got charged, and I don't trust this cancellation. We'll see. Either way - deceptive website design, difficult to cancel and complete failure to match food preferences.

Everything was great until I skipped a week. They auto selected 10 meals and charged me anyway. Did not even try to resolve this issue with me. So I’m done! Cancelled my account

Terrible customer service experience. I called to report that this is the second time that my food delivery was not delivered on n the day it was promised. This is the second time that this happened. I live in Arizona where the temperature is very hot. I work all day and if I don’t get the delivery when promised which is when I am available, the food sits in the hot Arizona sun all day. The last time the delivery was delayed it sat in the sun and the ice was all melted, the boxes of food were soggy, and the food spoiled. I was supposed to receive a credit for it which never happened. I spoke with the customer service representative and instead of helping me, she was condescending, disrespectful, and kept telling me that it was my fault. This is unacceptable. I will be looking for another food delivery service.

The food is good, but I do question the nutritional information, but have no evidence it’s wrong. The reason I’m writing is that you can NOT cancel. You can only pause, which means that you have a life long account with them and would need to keep track of when the deliveries would start up again to once again pause the subscription. This is actually a violation of the FTC “click to cancel” rule that went in to effect 1/2025, which protects consumers from not being able to EASILY cancel an online subscription. I have reported it to the FTC and hope something comes of it. I am still in email exchanges with someone named Maria Salgado to try to get my subscription canceled. I will not be working with this company ever again.
