Good computers. Pricey, but they work and do the job. Support could be better. Improve the support teams communication when damaged items are sent in for repair. Also the speed in repairs is terrible. It should not take 2-3 months to repair a broken screen.

The first panel PC recommended to us as an upgrade over the TM-5040 for better performance was not certified as a medical device, unlike the TM-5040. The second recommendation, the TM-7240, lacked certification for the US and Canada, creating additional pressure on our team to secure approval. In addition, over the past four years we have had to work with four different customer support contacts.

Regarding certifications: all of our medical-grade products are designed and tested to be compliant with IEC/UL 60601 safety and EMC standards, but we understand how critical it is for our customers to have the right U.S. and Canadian certifications clearly documented. We’re actively working to improve how we communicate certification status so you and your team can plan without added pressure. We understand there can be frustrations with changes in sales contacts. While some changes in team assignments are inevitable, we recognize the importance of consistent contacts for long-term projects. I like the product; however, procurement could be much better. There seems to be large delays (MONTHS!) for shipping and delivery; and the billing department does not follow our instructions for ACH payments and have had to be told multiple times.

Not very easy to use

We'll also be reaching out soon to see the specific instances where your device was not easy to use.
To start the conversation with sales was good and helped a lot, but there seemed to be a failure of communication of what we wanted for our systems. We received some Demo units that we really liked, and when we ordered informed we wanted the same spec's as the demo units. We order Desktops and Tablets. The desktops were supposed to have wireless capability, they did not come with that (was one of the features we liked and why we ordered these). The tablet Demo had a scanner function on it. Same thing, ordered the same as the demo and no scanner unit was provided. Had some difficulty with getting our company image to work on these units. But the Tech support Agent I worked with was just absolutely amazing and helpful to get the issues with the OS resolved. 2 stars for Sales, 5 stars for Tech Support.

Not UL Listed, can't be used for UL 508 Industrial applications. Shipping was an extremely long lead-time. Blanket orders required to maintain stock if one fails or is suddenly needed. Otherwise a nice display at a decent price.
