I had made some trades in my IWM position and was surprised to see that there was a sizeable margin requirement in spite of the fact that I had 4 long puts and 4 short puts. Support sent me a pic of my trades showing a 0 margin for IWM. Logged out and back in and then saw 0 margin req for IWM. Very fast response with the correct answer.

I appreciate the fast turnaround of answers provided by the support team. I send in an email and get a response in a short period of time. TW offers a lot of easy to use features that are much more intuitive than other systems I've used. The learning curve is very flat however it is feature rich. Are there features that I would like to see added? Absolutely but like any system it is a living and breathing process that starts with a superior level of support. Thanks.

I sent an email to the TastyWorks support team regarding a trading platform question about how they calculated an indicator value. Not a simple question. I had full confidence they would respond - as they ALWAYS respond but I thought it would take a few days. In TWO hours I had a very clear and precise answer. Their support is the very best of any company in America.

I sent Tastyworks support an email yesterday, and I received back 4 paragraphs of help with screenshots from the platform included. Without a doubt, this was the best response from an email support question I have received from any company I have ever done business with. TW’s technology, platform, and support are the best in the industry. I am a professional investment manager, and I happily pay commissions and costs at TW for the value I receive. Kudos to the entire team, and Stephen especially!

Tastyworks is the Bomb diggity, fantastic custy service and a trading platform that is superior to the competition. Been a TW custy for just over a year and half, and I could not be more pleased with their offerings, service and ease of doing business. 11/10 across the board.

The have a joke of a risk department. If you’re an active trader, stay away. Have multiple experiences with them closing both spreads and long options when far out of the money and they would either expire worthless or were being managed by me. Better to use interactive brokers or even E*trade as their risk departments don’t close your orders out and stick you with unnecessary losses!

A firm that prematurely closes out long option positions. Beware if you want to make money as these guys will take action before a market closes even on long positions that pose absolutely zero risk to them! Only positive thing to say about them is fills are decent. But that doesn’t make up for an incompetent risk department! My guess is they’ll say something like “our risk team takes into account whether the account can handle an assignment and will liquidate accordingly.” Were that to be true, why would they close an order to sell a 0dte long option literally within minutes of opening it?! I would take your business elsewhere to a broker that allows you to trade as you see fit when there is zero risk to them on your positions.
