I’m rating the process. I ordered this thinking I was getting a good deal. After I ordered it and was immediately charged the $116.57. Then within a day or two you advertised you made a mistake and you were going to now sell it at half price. Mine came today. I’m looking forward to using it,but it doesn’t look or feel like it’s worth the $116.57

The main on (plugged in) works great! I took travel one with me on a week travel. I put new batteries in it upon arrival at hotel used it once light light up. However the rest of week it wasn’t working. Upon arriving home again put in new batteries and still isn’t working

I love the toothbrush but the ordering and delayed shipping still feels like a ploy to get me to pay more

Not as good as my Oral B... I have had my Oral B for more than 10 years. I feel it does a good job of cleaning my teeth with the spinning brush head and vibration. I did not have to "brush" my teeth because the toothbrush did all the work for me, I just had to guide the brush around. My Oral B still works great but I was wanting to "upgrade" to a new toothbrush that possibly had newer technologies and features. The main reason I wanted to try the Tao was because of the sonic cleaning technology and the sanitizing capabilities in between brushing with the UV light. I really like the thought of it keeping my toothbrush in its cleanest form. What I did not expect was for it to be just a vibrating toothbrush. I knew it did not have a twirling head like my Oral B but I guess I expected the technology to be new enough it would feel different than just a vibration. With the Tao, I can't just let the brush do the cleaning, I have to actually brush my teeth. It is for these reasons I give the Tao UMMA Diamond Sonic Toothbrush only three stars. I was so hopeful that I would fall in love with the Tao toothbrush and was planning on ordering more for my entire family, but it just falls short of my expectations. My daughter, who has super sensitive gums and can not use the Oral B because it is too strong or abrasive for her gums and teeth, may like the Tao as an alternative. Who knows, I may end up giving this toothbrush to her. I did purchase several Tao toothbrush heads to try, so I need to give those a whirl before I completely rule out this toothbrush. Here is my positive/negative list for the Tao UMMA Diamond Sonic Toothbrush: Positives... * I love the color, I went with the green. It is so pretty and there are so many great colors to choose from. * I like the UV cleaning/sanitizing capabilities (I am assuming it truly does work and is not just a gimmick. I have not had the unit long enough to know if it is truly keeping the brush clean. * The handle is comfortable to hold. * You do not accidentally hit the buttons as you are brushing. (I accidentally change the setting on my Oral B every time I use it and it is super annoying.) * It beeps for you every 30 seconds when it is time to move to the next quadrant section of your teeth. Negatives... *It feel like its just a vibrating toothbrush and nothing really special there. *I don't feel like I get a super deep clean like I was hoping. * After you are finished brushing the 4 quadrants of your mouth the unit shuts off. You have to turn it back on to finish up or to brush your tongue. Not a big deal, but kind of an annoyance. My overall thoughts...It's a pretty toothbrush, has sonic technology and UV Light Sanitizing capabilities, but I would not say it would be a comparable or upgraded replacement for my current Oral B toothbrush.

i like the concept. Super spendy for it, tho. And the shipping time was kinda crazy, like a month or more. I ordered the black to match my bathroom. However, the two replacement heads that come with the package are white. Why not black, like the head that came w/my black?

I'm staying neutral as my brush has not shipped yet (for another few weeks) but the refills I ordered arrived last week. They look like quality but I have no idea since I don't have the actual toothbrush yet.

I don’t think it works properly. Some times it shuts off while using it.

I did not know that the unit had to be plugged in to work! It’s just another thing on your bathroom vanity! My original Oral B is battery operated. Also, it would be much better if you included instructions on a separate paper instead of printing it inside the box. I found that very undesirable because I don’t want to store boxes to look up information! The toothbrush is okay but frankly I Probably would not have purchased it knowing the above issues. These comments are from an older woman who was married 49 yrs to her dentist!!
