I was initially hung up on address requirements. When I called the person on the phone was very helpful and told me the move out and move in dates must match exactly. This corrected my problem and I was able to complete the questionaire.

I called because I was unable to retrieve the form for a background check. I spoke with Anuj, he was very professional, prompt and accurate. He was able to get the form uploaded and emailed to me in a matter of minutes. The whole process was quick and smooth. I was given a Client ID number which was an excellent way to expedite the process.

I was in and out.The people there are nice and helpful.Good people.

Area of improvment: employment and diploma check for foreigners. The hiring company had to ask for the proofs, I thought it was sterling mission to do so ..

If it were possible to rate this company any lower than one star, it would 100% be applied. Apart from clear data security red flags, from this company, I.e. no direct emails, a shared inbox for staff etc, I would be surprised if they are following any GDPR procedure. As well as this, I have made requests that have not been honoured and instead have been ignored. I spoke to one advisor on the phone who was helpful, but it turned out he had the incorrect information, told me nothing was outstanding, and then, I received multiple emails, separately asking for documentation, some of which I had already disclosed days earlier. Overall, a hugely unprofessional, stressful, and laborious service with seemingly no care or respect for candidates or clients. I will be pursuing my complaint further.

Very unhelpful. Sat on the phone for over an hour to speak with a supervisor about this delayed process on a simple background check. When I finally got through the woman I spoke with was no help and was unable to help rectify the situation at all. UPDATE: Still waiting with no more information than I had two weeks ago. But on a brighter note, everybody on their customer service team is "extremely sorry and completely understands". Apparently they also have no management team to speak with and can only offer the same unhelpful solution no matter the circumstance. Extremely frustrating

Feeling safe and secure about my personal information is key. Sterling shows the security and the importance of a background screening. It will get better if there was to be more basic information.in the beginning to more prepare
