I was going to give as a gift on May 5th so called to cancel but no answer. Canceled by email no response.Next thing i know i get the ring in June. Was a $90 piece of hollow junk, could have bought a better ring off of temu for $6.

was predicting using this website due to reading the bad reviews but took the risk and was really happy! purchased a jewellery box online through the website and payed for next day delivery, it arrived in time and it was packaged well, very happy with my purchase very well made quality, don’t let the reviews put you off! this made a great birthday gift 10/10 service

Purchased one of the retrograde watches. Lovely looking and I really liked it. Wore it as a dress watch which is to say was well taken care of. Lasted for 2 years 6 months, and now the minute hand simply goes to the bottom of the watch and stays there. Called Stauer to find out about repair and was told they do no repairs nor did they offer anyone that could, and since the watch was now 6 months past warranty, there was no returns. I guess paying $100 for a watch to last 2 years is their idea of a deal, but not mine. Own lots of watches and will never again own one of theirs. I say save yours too and go find a better quality. I have several timex and casio that I paid about the same for and have them for over 6-8 years.

Issues with order over multiple weeks... 1. Do not use the email form to submit questions or concerns regarding an order or item. They WILL NOT respond (it's been 3+ weeks now). 2. Their system is set up to where if you make a purchase, you'll receive a confirmation # on the same screen. That does NOT guarantee that the order went through. I made two different purchases, received confirmation numbers, did NOT receive confirmation emails, was NEVER charged, but I was also never told the orders failed to process fully. 3. After dealing with the online purchase catastrophe, I then called the sales department to figure out if I was eventually going to be charged for the repeated purchases. Turns out, there was NO history of the purchases even with the confirmation numbers given on the transaction screen. 4. I proceeded to make the purchase on the phone (3rd attempt at buying a necklace and earrings). This is where I was charged an annual membership fee of $129 (turns out it auto renews - NOT SURPRISED). I did not sign up for it and it was added without my knowledge. The sales person took off one of the items in my order so that the total sum of the purchase (WITH EXPEDITED SHIPPING) came out to be similar to what the total cost of the jewelry items would've been. It wasn't until after the purchase cleared my account that I saw the confirmation email (finally) that a membership fee was applied. 5. Expedited shipping failed to deliver on time. UPS tracking number given to me was incorrect. To this day, it still shows the label was created but the package has not being dropped off at UPS. 6. I called customer service AGAIN to discuss the membership fee, lack of transparency by the company and to advocate for elderly individuals like my mother who could've been scammed by this company's lack of ethics. I brought up their 1.8/5 star reviews online and was informed that there were "angry, miserable people out in the world so you shouldn't believe everything you read". From my experience, 1.8 stars seems pretty accurate and I can assure you that I am angry about this situation but not necessarily a miserable person overall ; ) Please take your business elsewhere.

It is a joke. Mother's day approaching. I bought a watch and a necklace online on May 4. I received email saying that estimated arrival was 5/7. I called customer svc on 5/8. She told me there was backorder for necklace. I asked why I wasn't notified. She had like an AI automated tone saying "sorry". That was it. No further action was taken from Stauer. They failed to communicate with me. I would have some time to seek for other gift. I am stressed out. I will never buy anything from Stauer.

After reading the other reviews on this website, I feel as if I am writing about a different company. While their watches are terrible, they all break after about 6 months. I have been pleased with their jewelry, which seems to be a very good value for the price. I have never had a problem with them accepting coupons. You know the shipping and insurance charges at checkout. If they are too high for you, then don't buy. Not a terrible company to deal with. Four stars because they can't make and sell a decent watch.

Major rip-off! Fraudulent is putting it mildly. I would also give this company 0 stars if I could. My elderly mom with dementia orders from their catalogs, and I cancel them when I see the outrageous prices. This last time they charged her $29.94 for shipping and insurance for a small phone wristlet. The math on their order details never adds up. They hike up the prices and then throw in random coupons to bring the charges down. One of her orders said all items were in stock, but once she placed the order, the status changed to "on backorder". Do yourself a favor and DO NOT ORDER FROM STAUER.

ANOTHER Staur watch quit. Went to change to Daylight Saving Time on model 58010. Hands went crazy. I'm sure I was doing it right, but went on there website to look up instructions. That model doesn't appear in a search. Not the instructions, not even the watch itself is listed. Third broken Staur watch in 2 years. Never again!
