Starwood Pet TravelReviews of starwoodpet.com

Starwood Pet Travel is excellent! From the very beginning when we were getting the forms sorted to the delivery of my sweet Cass to us in Ireland, they were thorough and very communicative. Our project manager, Cassidy Ryan, was on top of everything and was so calm and easy to work with. She calmed our nerves as the day approached for travel. And she had her team communicate with pictures of Cass every step of the journey. Cass was delivered on time and with a wagging tail.

We recently relocated our Golden Retriever, Leo, from California to Ireland with Starwood Pet Travel, and I honestly don’t think we could have done it without Cassidy. The process was incredibly stressful, especially with all the paperwork and last-minute issues, but Cassidy was there to help us through everything. She was patient, supportive, and always willing to help, even when things got really stressful. Cassidy, you’re an absolute superstar, and we feel so lucky that you were our coordinator. Thank you for helping us get Leo safely to Ireland. We’ll always be grateful for everything you did for us. Thank you to the whole Starwood team for making this possible. We highly recommend them to anyone planning an international pet relocation!

From first contact to final arrival at Heathrow everyone at Starwood took good care of getting my cat from Boston to London. They coordinated all of the many details and we are now nicely settling in our new London home.

Starwood and Ryan were so helpful and amazing at getting my dog shipped to China. They walked me through everything, spoke to my vet, and helped me through every anxious moment. Ryan was truly so amazing and let me ask as many questions possible that stemmed from anxiety. Ryan simply was the best contact person and helped so much. I would trust her and Starwood again with my pets!

Sarah was on top of things and accessible within a short amount of time when there were last minute questions coming up. It was quite an investment, so we were relieved when Archie arrived safe and happy.

Cassidy was very good on handling my anxiety all the way through this process. My pet arrived safely, that’s all matters to me.

A week prior to moving our dog to Hawaii (for $4K), they failed to submit the paperwork to our mainland veterinarian (their only job) causing us to have to reschedule for the next day (after my wife already showed up). Then, we had another problem with our paperwork that caused us to have to pay a $50 expedited paperwork fee. We hired this company to avoid such fees. And then, on the day our dog arrived in Hawaii, their pet courier FORGOT TO PICK HIM UP and escort him through the process. When I picked him up, after being frustrated by the lack of communication, I had to take apart his giant crate alongside a busy road all by myself and bring him to my house. BTW, our courier wasn’t even on our island. Hawaiian customs didn’t even want to release my own dog to me. The “manager” named Ryan kept telling me that it was a mistake and this isn’t how they “do business.” She then low balled me on a refund. They also complained that I was bothering them so late at night on a Friday. If you have clients in Hawaii, you should be available late at night in case things go wrong. Book at your own peril. This company sucks. No accountability. I’m in the military and have a high threshold for suckiness, but I would strongly advise against Starwood. Edit after reply** Starwood has used the hurricane as "not an excuse" to explain their abandoning my pet. What they seem to be unaware of is the fact that the hurricane was also hitting Oahu (my location). When I emailed them, I got an AI generated response.

Great experience with Starwood Pet Travel and Molly, our co-ordinator, in transporting my two Maine Coon cats from New York, USA to the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. This is a complex procedure over more than 6 months with multiple vet visits, three flights and 10 days in quarantine on arrival in Australia. Daunting at the start, but Starwood had it all in hand.
