When we started SS396.com, a Ground Up Motors company, we had one thing in mind: to bring the best quality restoration parts to everyone, from the weekend driver to the 1000-point restoration. Over the years, we have grown from one person operating out of a garage to our brand new 60,000+ square foot facility in Palm Coast, Florida. It took a while to get here and I did have to do some grinding on brackets that had interference points. But all in all it fits well. Some diagrams would have been nice. Lucky for me, I had another car with an original pump on it to go by.

I got my trunk lid very promptly after I ordered it. Only problem I can point out it had a dent in two areas, one with the lip by the driver side tail light being curled in and the other up by the passenger side hinge. I was able to straighten them out easily. It's the only thing that stood out to me.

I was told by a rep I was receiving the drivers side mirror out of the kit I ordered but recieved the passengers side. I will be giving cust support a call today. I did call cust support spoke to Ruthan, she was able to guarantee the drivers side mirror was in stock (19 total) i repurchase the mirror she was able to give free shipping.. The whole mess could have been avoided by posting before purchase availability was accurate. Not sure if I was refunded tax on the origional purchse due to the refund was 155.00 and the amount to reorder the mirror came to 169.00 and some change. I don't remember the exact amounts. Not completely satisfied with the end result. This mirror has taught me a lot. All the reps have been very polite, somewhat sympathetic and did the best they could based on abilities to help with my dilemma. Thank you

I did receive my well packaged order in a timely manner. Unfortunately, it was defective from the manufacturer (that is why the rating is not a 5). I reached out and sent a video of the defect. They immediately started the return process by sending me a return label (I still gave a 4 because they responded so quickly). Shipped it back the same day and now waiting for them to receive, evaluate and ship me a new one. UPDATE: 9/18 Received the new mirror. Much better condition than the first 1.

I had gotten some door molding from Amazon. After getting everything installed I could not shut the doors and had to slam the trunk. Now they work fine. I did have some trouble with the outer felts. They curve up on the ends. It looked in the manufacturing process they made them straight and then tried to curve them leaving a pucker at the end. I was able to work them out on one side but the other I still have a pucker.
