SpringboardReviews of springboard.com

The Springboard Data Science Career Track was a phenomenal experience packed with material pertinent to the industry. You go through curriculum that's focused around what employers are looking for and what is fundamental to Data Science, and throughout are career resources that help you prepare for and succeed in your job search strategy one on one with a coach. Once you complete the course, you get a certificate and will have 2 presentable capstone projects that are industry grade to share with employers. My mentor worked as a Research Scientist at Amazon and his perspective of how Data Science is used today in one of the top tech companies was invaluable to hear. My career coach helped me along the way too with negotiation and interview prep. I had been working in marketing and teaching myself data science on the side and I felt the rigor of the program helped me focus, made sure I didn't miss anything, and helped me move into data analytics and then product analytics.

Easy to use and excellent resources. Springboard does a great job of utilizing different techniques to teach. The interface is easy to use and everything is explained in great detail. The mentor program is an excellent opportunity as well.

Springboard is a great curriculum. The support you receive from your mentor and the TAs is also phenomenal. I really think this is a life and career changing course for me!

I have gained so much knowledge with Springboard and definitely appreciate the mentors and all of the staff including Chris Hu for taking the time to guide us through this learning journey. They are very understanding and always ready to help when feeling stuck.

I am still in my early process of learning. Good curriculum and informative mentor call.

From all the individuals I have meet, to the program itself, Springboard has gone above and beyond on helping me understand this growing industry as well as been very accessible during these trying times with the COVID-19. The curriculum laid out is easy to navigate and understand. The course itself is very accommodating to ones schedule as well. I am very glad with my decision in choosing Springboard.

I had a great learning experience. I have a habit of independently learning things on my own on whatever topic satisfies my curiosity at the time. I did not plan it as such, but, I absolutely took a very different route than is expected from a traditional data science. I did the course by building the capstone projects first, and picking up all I need to get them done along the way. This was an excellent way for me to learn and I progressed really fast. As I wrap up, I am beginning to go through the individual lectures on the course and I find that the lectures provide me with 'finesse', or rather, details that I pick up that makes my projects even stronger and better. I love the curated lecture contents. If I were to be completely honest, this may not work for every student, but building projects quickly and learning along the way has been so incredibly helpful, I think a stronger focus on meaningful projects could benefit future students, and 'meaningful' should be emphasized. I think understanding how to come up with meaningful project ideas can be a topic that can be covered a little more in detail. But, this worked for me, I am not clear if everyone would learn the same way. I just wanted to share my thought.

My experience with springboard has been wonderful. My mentor is supportive and always gives wonderful constructive criticism. And my student advisor is always super helpful when I need something.
