Some years I haven't used this much, but this year it sure came in handy. I made two claims this year and the process was smooth. I uploaded the paperwork (bill and drs SOAP notes), filled out the extra details, and about two weeks later I get the good news of how much Spot is re-imbursing me. I was able to dial in a plan that worked for us. A great percentage after yearly deductible is met. I have already recommended Spot to many other pet owners.

My claim was handled fast.

Very easy to use, reviewed claims in a timely manner and reimbursed me quickly.

At this point it feels like Spot would rather push families toward putting their pets down than help them afford treatment! Our pet insurance premium jumped from $270 to $450/month and when I called for help a supervisor said it could go to $560. More than double. After years of paying for coverage this is how loyal customers with aging pets are treated? Outrageous. Spot please explain how you justify this! #PetInsurance #DogCancer #SeniorDog

If I could give negative stars I would. I’m not one to give reviews but with this fradulant insurance I will. They are terrible with communication as well as being understating. I called to cancel my pets insurance due to them not covering anything at all meanwhile i’m paying 65 dollars a month! The lady on the phone made me feel like a terrible person and asked 3 times if i’m sure I wanted to do this to my dog. Also used my dogs very sad diagnosis against me to keep this insurance ( they don’t even cover her diagnosis). Very upset, wasted money

I am very impressed and very happy with SPOT insurance through Sam’s Club. I have made 2 claims with my 9 week old puppy and got money back off his 2 visits. I am and will recommend this.

I have found my entire process very frustrating. I have sent in many claims. I know I had a deductible but mostly the claims were denied because you wanted my dogs records from when he was a puppy (he is now 3.7 years old). I get it. But I have been very careful not to submit claims for the things that were going on prior to me getting insurance thru you. I had to switch from Nationwide, who I had since he was 10 weeks old, because they raised my premium from $800/yr to $3500/yr claiming it was the State of Maines fault (it wasn't). He has always had ear infections (floppy eared dog) so I don't submit for those. I believe my Vets office has now sent you every record that probably exists and you finally paid two of my claims. Unfortunately when I call to question things I cannot understand the accent of the person on the phone.
