*** UPDATE*** We were able to return our Fiji Sunlamp for refund of the base purchase price. We lost over $200 in shipping fees (Canada). Used the unit for 2 months, as directed, zero results. I think its a low grade UVB lamp, not enough UVA to tan or enough power tor really help either vitamin D, or mitochondrial function. Just not worth it, in our opinion. We are investing in a full size home tanning bed with higher UVB% lamps. We are glad to have been able to at least gotten our purchase price back.

The lamp does not come on when you throw the switch unless you grab the bulb with your hand for some reason. Then it flashes brightly and comes on. Just turn on the switch and timer and it will just sit there

My Fiji Sun fixture has had a problem starting the bulbs from the first day I received it. I called the company and was told to turn it on by flipping it on then off several times back and forth. I just put 4 new bulbs in that I got from this company, but still it won't come on which means it is a ballast output problem. Co. should send me a replacement ballast! I also have the Sperti UV-B Vitamin D fixture and it works perfectly. DL

The lamp itself is excellent quality. Strong bulbs. My only frustration is that it tends to only work in spots. If you’re looking for a tan that is even and efficient, it is hard to do so with this unit. Even if you move it around and repeat in multiple locations, it doesn’t really get an even tan. Also very time consuming to have to cover all areas.

avoided buying the lamp on Amazon to support small business -- ordered my lamp directly from sperti.com, paid and provided my CORRECT shipping address.. not sure why sperti has to call me to confirm my shipping address, email would have sufficient. I never pick up random calls from unknown numbers.. missed two days of calls and messages from you guys.

I have gotten 2 units from you guys and both of them will not work ! So What do you think my rating you will say? I just mailed them back yesterday with the 2 label you sent me . So i you can in sure that i get the next one and it will work fine. OK If not i want a refund!!!!!!!!

The timer always gets stuck at the half way point. Has been an issue since purchase and I’ve just learnt to live with it because I wasn’t prepared to send the unit back from Australia to the US. Setup local service agents if you want to sell international
