We wanted to gift a bottle of wine to our friend in SC. Living in Michigan made that difficult until we discovered Sommsation! Thank you for delivering our special Christmas gift to our special friend!

The tasting class was someone disorganized. We went thru a specific exercise for the 1st wine (White) and then it became just an overall conversation withe the wine maker & the somm. He plugged his cider products and after that there was not a lot of structure. We then opening the 2nd wine (Red) but their was just discussion about wine in general and only at the very end after of if the participants request was there a cursory tasting exercise for that wine. The wines themselves were just ok and certainly not the quality that I expected for a $45 price per bottle. Not likely to be a repeat customer.

Excellent Wine Tasting Experience in Comfort of Home. Experienced professional tasting that introduced some non-traditional varietals from Oregon. Enjoyed the education on the wine making process, grapes, and the winery. Have sought out the sampled wines in Portland.

It took over 2 weeks for the wine to ship. This was a birthday gift and got there way past their day. I had to chat someone to investigate and they said ‘this never happens’ & that someone would follow up with me and reach out. I never got an email that the order was delivered, I had to ask the person which was embarrassing to not know. Many issues with the service and that no one followed up.

The recipients did not get the wines I selected and the wines that were substituted weren't particularly good and not worth the same amount in which I purchased the originals. Would not shop with them again.
