Founded in 1936, The Southern Bank has served as a reputable and reliable community lender in its Northeast Alabama footprint for over 80 years. While working locally with small and medium-sized businesses, The Southern Bank recognized the consistent need for non-traditional commercial lines of credit. In response, The Southern Bank developed altLINE, an Accounts Receivable based financing platform for commercial customers.Operating within an FDIC insured and state regulated bank, altLINE provides customers the flexibility of an independent financing company with the cost advantages and service people expect from a community bank. altLINE partners with commercial bankers, accountants, business advisors, and other intermediaries nationwide to deploy its specialty lending capabilities wherever it may be needed. To learn how we can help your business or client, contact us today.

I highly recommend Sobanco. They are easy to work with and trust worthy. Their factoring rates are competitive. Our account manager is Mildred Glaze and she is always one phone call away if we need anything. They are quick to respond any inquires and willing to work with us. 100% Costumer Service

I highly recommend The Southern Bank Company. Their customer service is phenomenal. Lee Dolberry and Kelley Burnett were wonderful to work with. Both were very professional yet friendly. Having Lee as my account manager was a great experience as I never had any worries. I knew that he would take care of me and my company.

After months of considering altLine and working with Chas to gain understanding on just how this product might benefit our 20 year veteran company, I can say it has been a rewarding experience. Chas listened to gain understanding about our desire to retool for growth and expansion. He provided valuable guideance that aided in our ability to negotiate better terms with our newly engaged clients. Although the initial setup came with some unexpected processing delays. Mainly due to logistical issues with client payables. Yet, the team worked to keep us informed and communicated atlLine's approval process for non historical receivables. This balance of checks was somewhat frustrating but each member, especially Ms. Mildred took strides in effort to ensure a managable game plan during this transition. Their expertise and long standing commitment to support small companies gained our business but their commitment to provide an equitable resolution during the difficulty has earned our trust. We look forward to building a prosperous business relationship that will be mutually rewarding. Venus B. Director
