We have had a great experience with Smith Thompson. Our technician was able to answer all of our questions while working quickly and efficiently to get the system installed. Everyone we have come in contact with has been friendly and willing to help!

We've been using Smith Thompson Home Security for a little over two years now and are very pleased with their service. You can't beat their price and quality of service together. When we mistakenly set off the alarm, they promptly call us. We also recently moved into a new home and new setup and installation was very smooth.

We really appreciate Smith Thompson because they keep things simple and are to the point. Their techs are prompt and don't waste time completing the install. We used them for monitoring at our previous home and liked them so much we have them again at our new house. Our friends and family use Smith Thompson as well.

Our system has been serviced and monitored by Vivint (in Utah we found out the hard way) and we have been paying over 60 bucks a month for features that either never really worked that good, plus things we stopped using after about a month. Total waste of money. All we really ever wanted was to have our security system monitored, that's all. Since our equipment only worked with Vivint (something else we learned the hard way) we were forced to replace the main control box, and two touch pads. It turns out though, it was no big hassle at all, in fact, it only took less than an hour and Shawn, the technician, cleaned up after himself (there never was a mess realyy, he only swapped the pads and control is all) and made the whole thing basically painless. The price? The entire bill was only about $ 140 for EVERYTHING including a new wireless unit (ours wasn't compatible, something else we learned the hard way! smhh) Everything Smith Thompson put in is totally compatible with any alarm company btw. Anyway we will make up the cost in less than a few months at $ 16.95 a month and I really like their touch pads (DSC) better anyway, more attractive and more streamlined on the wall. Vivints are very thick and very tacky looking. All in all, a very good move and our monitoring service is now back local which we love, much faster.

We have had Smith Thompson for a couple of years now. We recently moved and had to reactivate our service. We had a wonderful technician. He went above and beyond to fix our alarm system that Vivent had ruined. We will forever recommend this company to anyone we know. The no contract thing is the best!
