I recently (3-31-17) had the monitoring service installed in my home. The installer was very professional and a pleasure to talk with. It was apparent Lloyd had been in the business for many years and really knew his stuff! The installation went smoothly and he took his time explaining everything to a tee. We recently changed security companies to Smith Thompson. I've been reviewing different companies for a while and felt Smith Thompson would be the right choice. Their pricing is fair! They make money and we don't get ripped off paying crazy monthly fees. We have an existing system. They installed two panels and insured everything was working properly. Clear explanation with instructions how to file for our alarm permit were given during the technicians visit. I feel very good about our technician, his work and the time he took to clean up after himself. The alarm system is simple to operate but it was a positive experience that he took the time to explain it and make sure I understood. I found it very interesting that when I was programming my password into the alarm system, he purposely walked away, so as not to see me enter it into the system. I completely trusted his honesty but this made me feel even better about the company. Thank you for a great job and we look forward to a long relationship with Smith Thompson.

My wife and I did our research thoroughly prior to our decision to go with Smith Thompson. Not to be confused with Smith Monitoring, Smith Thompson had the best reviews, no contracts, and best rates around. On time as promised. Gary, the technician, came out and finished the work within one half an hour then gave us an in-depth explanation on the functionality of the system. We had questions in regards to adding more features to the system but with honest answers he explained to us how it was NOT needed. Other companies would've jumped on the chance to sell us unneeded features, where Gary was honest enough not to do so. Highly recommend!
