The website is a little confusing to navigate, especially regarding the drop down options when selecting a variant of the product you want. I would recommend that the pictures that show the example product be arranged in the same order as the drop down options. Also it would be helpful if the runphones options had the little banner guides like the sleepphones options do.

I have good and bad things to report. First of all I had great difficulty charging the unit. The drawing was not as clear as it could have been. Not until I watched every single video until the very last one did I reach the correct tutorial that clearly explained how easy it was to place the sleep phone on the charger. I felt foolish as it really is easy as it is a magnet. There should had been a link to the tutorial to help people understand more clearly. The next problem I encountered was pairing. It took a long time to pair with my iPhone. I’ve paired several sets of ear phones quite easily to my iPhone before and do not understand why I encountered this difficulty. I finally succeeded. It was wonderful getting a great night’s sleep for the first time in years! Thank you, Acoustic Sheep! However, after two great nights I couldn’t get the phones to pair again. I finally resorted to having to pair them with my iPad. I wish someone could explain this to me. By the way, since I live in a warm, humid climate I chose the breeze fabric and find it very comfortable. Also, I would like to know if it makes any diffference in whether the left or right ear pads are on the correct sides because I intentionally wear the phones in reverse, so to speak, as an eye mask to block out the light. I don’t know if it makes a difference to which side the brain is receiving which sound wave. All I know for sure is that it is working well for me and by getting a good night’s sleep I have much less severe pain every day which is remarkable. If it were not for the initial problem and the continuing pairing hassles I would rate these phones five stars. Also, I was told there were free binaural beat apps for the acoustic sheep but I can not find them. If there are any, there should have been a link listed as well as the tutorial link. Can a second Breeze headband be purchased to use while the first one is being laundered? Thank you in advance for any help with these issues.

Dear Patricia, Our sincerest apologies for the difficulty you experienced! When placing the Bluetooth® module on the charging base, please make sure that it is facing down on the induction charger. This means that when you feel it as it is charging, it should be a flat surface with the three buttons pointing toward the charging base. Also, the speaker plug on the module will need to be positioned on the opposite side of the micro USB port on the charging base. When positioned correctly, you will feel a magnetic attraction between the Bluetooth® module and the charging base. You might need to move the module a bit within the headband as the fabric / hook and loop opening might be interfering with the magnets. When pairing to additional devices or a second device it's crucial to hold the middle, square power button down, for approximately 10 seconds or until you hear the ascending 3 ring tone followed by the continuous beeping. You may need to temporarily disable Bluetooth® on first device you paired to, since the SleepPhones® Effortless™ is designed to pair with the last device it was paired to. The SleepPhones® are meant to be worn like a headband, but certainly can be lowered over the eyes and used as an eye mask as well. The right speaker has red stitching and the left speaker has green stitching. The softer gray side should be against your ears and the coarser side facing away from your ears. We do offer an app for Apple devices called SleepPhones® The Beginning which includes 4 tracks with binaural beats. I like the headphones and they serve their purpose quite well, but I have to replace them abut every six months because the cord wears out, and the product is not exactly cheap. The cord by itself is almost the same price as the whole set. And I’ve tried cordless blue tooth, but the charge is only good 4-6 hours.

Regarding the battery life of the SleepPhones® Wireless, many different variables can alter exactly how long the battery life will last. For example if you are listening to the product on the highest volume, you will only receive closer to 5-6 hours of playback. We highly suggest listening to the product at a medium volume level as a high level could cause hearing damage if used for several hours. We have also found that certain apps cause the Bluetooth® module to have a shorter battery life. Apps such as Spotify or YouTube stream music, which will drain the battery faster than an app which downloads the music / tones directly to your device. Listening to music preloaded on your device will give you the 10 hour battery life. I have only tested these since I plan to use it on a 9 hour flight coming up in 10 days, but I think I'm going to love them! I have an app on my phone called My Noises from White Noise & Co., and you can actually create your own custom noise with 10 bars you can manipulate with your finger. I've tried it with my new wireless sleep phones, and it's wonderful! I know I will sleep a lot better than without them! Highly recommend them!
