TP22 Tillerpilot. This item let us down half way between Azores and France (it probably took in some water) causing some frustration. This frustration disappeared when the Simrad team inspected the item and replaced without fuss.

good product directions for use are a little light...still can not connect the depth finder

Wanted to purchase a transducer for SideScan capability. Representative looked up the correct part number based on my unit’s serial number. Ordered and received the part in a few days. Gave 4 stars due to seeing the same item on EBay for $100 less.

Purchasing through the website is easy and very effective. Simrad should get 5 stars for that. Unfortunately tech support is hard to reach, and although they are very kind and serious, don’t expect a follow up to a problem left unresolved. Great products, but not easy to use, and support needs more staffing.

Got a replacement cover for a GO XSE. It was the most confusing and confounded experience you will ever endure. Nothing is straight forward. They don't explain you have to know screen size and mounting before selecting the cover. Much like other reviews it was not a good experience. The cover I got is a sloppy fit but most lively because it is not exactly correct. Seems to me when you sell a product the SPECIFIC manual should come with it not some catch all booklet. For a name like Simrad I think they can do better....

The first women who helped me was difficult to understand and didn't seem to have a good working knowledge of the product. By my third call I connected with someone who understood the product and escalated when necessary. Bottom line we are still not sure why I lost my side scan icon on the home page.

I purchased a Simrad Cruise 9. It would be nice if the sun cover was includedq and not an accessory, also a little disappointed that my lake is not included in the maps. I understand that it came with USCoastal maps but i am on the west coast of Florida. All the other less expensive units ive owned have had both. On the upside I do like the unit over all and the order was processed and shipped very quickly even with standard shipping.
