The knives are not only beautiful but top quality. They continue to stay sharp after every use. I always wanted a top quality knife set and I have the found the perfect set. These knives are not only top notch but are at an affordable price. Highly recommend these knives.

While these are not the highest quality knives I've used, they for sure are the best knives i've used in my home kitchen. with a wide variety of full tang blades in beautiful dark wood handles, it's hard not to be impressed. I do have a small amount of trouble keeping them sharp but with the optional sharpener it's easy enough to sharpen after several uses. all in all I'm quite pleased with my purchase.

Bought a cutting board, it warped and cracked within a month. Contacted them. Said they would send another one. Months later nothing. Had to contact again. This was not shipping delays. They never sent the first replacement. I have the emails and the tracking. After I contacted them a second time, MONTHS later, they finally resent another one. Also warped and cracked.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. When we initially received your complaint, we promptly replaced the cutting board and sent it out. Unfortunately, shipping delays, which are beyond our control, may have impacted the delivery time. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. We did not receive any follow-up communication regarding the replacement being damaged as well. Had we known, we would have immediately arranged for another replacement. We value your satisfaction and would like to resolve this issue. Please feel free to reach out directly, and we’ll make sure to assist you.
I appreciate the craftsmanship and the way they conform to my hand. Cutting technology is second to none. I am not a chef, however I cut my fair share of meat and love how smooth they cut. Once you try them you will just ask yourself why you have Waited so long to purchase one! Thank you! Regards Murray K

Bought the set of 8 Seido knives with the block. They came and they looked beautiful. I’m very particular about the knives I use in the kitchen and I am of the opinion that “if you buy cheap you buy twice”. This set was what I believe a, fair to expensive price bracket. I have looked after the knives, making sure they go nowhere near the dishwasher and they are hand washed and dried after every use. I have had these knives for 2 months now and to my surprise there appears to be rust on 2 of the knives. These are meant to be Damascus forged blades and of “premium quality” yet a set from my local supermarket would have lasted longer. So in this case… “buy expensive, buy twice” I will not be purchasing these knives again, I will simply go elsewhere. You have lost an admiring customer due to the quality of the blades

We genuinely appreciate your feedback and apologize for the inconvenience you're facing with the knives. While our knives are crafted with premium materials and designed to resist wear and tear, rust can occasionally form due to various environmental factors. These factors can include: Humidity Levels: High humidity, especially in kitchens, can contribute to oxidation over time, leading to rust formation even on stainless steel or Damascus blades. Water Quality: The minerals and impurities in tap water can also contribute to rust. Hard water, for instance, contains higher amounts of calcium and magnesium, which can leave residues on the blade that promote rusting. Food Acidity: Cutting acidic foods like citrus, tomatoes, or onions without thoroughly rinsing the blade afterward can accelerate oxidation. Even if the knife is hand-washed, residual acids can linger. Storage Conditions: If knives are stored in a damp environment, such as a knife block without proper ventilation, moisture can get trapped, increasing the likelihood of rust. We understand that this might be frustrating, especially given the care you've taken with your knives. Please know that your feedback is invaluable to us, and we're always striving to improve our products.
Knives are very sharp as advertised, disappointing rust formation on brand on blade occurring after first few days use after care was performed after use.

Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to share your experience. We are pleased to hear that you find our knives sharp and effective. However, we are concerned about your report of rust formation. All our knives undergo rigorous quality control, and we strive to ensure they meet the highest standards. Rusting is typically caused by improper care, such as leaving knives wet or not drying them thoroughly before storing them. To address this, we recommend that all knives be hand-washed and dried immediately after use to prevent rust and maintain their longevity. We also provide detailed care instructions with each product to help ensure they remain in excellent condition. If you continue to experience issues or if there’s anything we can do to assist you further, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly at [email protected]. We are committed to resolving any concerns and improving our products based on customer feedback. Thank you for your understanding and for choosing Seido Knives.
The knives were exactly as described and excellent quality. Did not take too long to receive them either. We love the knives and have ordered more, and will definitely get more in the future.
