Scruffy City Movers arrived early on the day we chose to move my son from one apartment to another. The gentlemen were friendly and handled all items with care. They were quick and efficient and had the move completed well within the time I booked. The best moving experience we have had in years. Would definitely highly recommend.

I've moved enough times to know that the moving industry is one of those places where the gap between what's promised and what shows up is almost a genre of its own. So when something actually works and works well, I take note. Stephen at Scruffy City Movers was responsive from the first contact, which matters more than it sounds, it was Memorial Day weekend. We had a tight coordination window with a U-Haul U-Box delivery, the kind of logistics where one late call unravels everything downstream. He didn't just show up. He showed up calibrated. The crew unloaded the container, split the delivery between our apartment and the storage unit at the complex, and then without being asked reorganized the storage unit so everything actually fit. That last part is what I'll remember. Nobody told them to do it. They just saw a problem and solved it, which meant we didn't have to upgrade to a larger unit. That's not customer service as a script. That's competence expressed as care, the rarest combination in any service business. Five stars. And I don't give those away.

Stephen and his crew did a phenomenal job making the move into our first home smoother and better than we could have imagined. They were professional, efficient, and incredibly careful with our belongings every step of the way. They were also extremely understanding and accommodating despite the complexity of moving everything we had somehow managed to fit into our one-bedroom apartment. Stephen took time to care for my personal belongings and make sure they reached their new destination safely, and when there was an issue with one piece he immediately offered to have it repaired for me. He’s very good at instructing his men who help him as well. He’s a kind soul and very professional at the same time. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone relocating.
