Their search system is weak, so they find you job after job that are MISMATCHED. Their :customization" is done by staff that is incapable and unskilled. They can not write a good cover or resume that the American Market would want.....Their Hit Rate is less than 1 in 1000

Scale found me my job having done pretty much exactly what they advertised they'd do. Their tooling around this was very good, I could custom tailor how my personal recruiter applied for me and monitor progress easily. The personal recruiters were friendly and professional and made fewer than 50 mistakes, which is the number of free credits they give you (though your refundable credits are consumed first). I'm not writing this review for the extra credits (if that's still a thing, I hope it isn't), I genuinely did have a good experience! One area I struggled with Scale was around their career coach service. The coach I met with didn't listen to me much and was mainly concerned with feeding my resume through an AI to add fake metrics. This was ineffective and I used little from the call, I recommend customers use their own career coaches dedicated to their specific field, but tell them about Scale and use their help to get a good story for yourself set up before burning through application credits. Scale also really favors AI in general. AI cover letters, AI resumes. AI cover letters kind of defeat the point of a cover letter in many situations, and the kinds of changes an AI resume tailoring system you aren't overseeing yourself are likely to make will probably cause inaccuracies and problems in interviews. I didn't engage with any of this and I'm very glad I didn't. Overall though, Scale delivered. Through my jobhunt I could sleep at night knowing the most soul-destroying part of the work was being handled for me. And it really was. They did a great job.

Scale.jobs has saved me so much time applying for new positions. I gave my recruiter some basic recruiting guidelines (job titles, minimum salary ranges, location, etc.). Every morning I get an Excel spreadsheet with job listings they found that I review and either accept or reject. If accepted- the recruiter will apply for me- savings me time filling in fields and uploading Resumes. You can update your search, and fine tune things- which the Scale team adjusts to. I like using the service- so I can focus on interviewing instead of time consuming job applications.
