SaneBoxReviews of sanebox.com

SaneBox is a brilliant email filtering service that isn't cheap, but I feel offers good value for money in terms of the amount of wasted time reclaimed. When my free trial expired, within a couple of days I realised I didn't want to go back to spending time managing email again. I've used Google Mail's native category filtering, which did an OK job for accounts with low email flow, but didn't work so well for a busy Inbox. I also tried Inbox from Google, I liked the idea, but found the interface a bit too restrictive. SaneBox support have been responsive and helpful answering queries. I definitely recommend looking at SaneBox.

When I lost a series of messages from one sender (my husband, incidentally), Tony at SaneBox worked with me patiently in a step-by-step process until we found them in SaneBlackhole. Excellent customer service for a truly time saving product. I highly recommend SaneBox for anyone who feels its a waste of time to deal with irrelevant messages across the day when they could be efficiently dealt with in a digest at the end of the day.

Email without Sanebox would be pretty gruelling. The beauty of Sanebox is that it works with any email client (integrating more fully with some), and learns from one's natural behaviours, such as email filing. If one is prepared to put some work in, such as reviewing the Sanebox digest emails, one can make email much more manageable. On top of this, they keep innovating and improving the interface and features. But one needs to be prepared for some pain while setting up Sanebox, and for quite a learning curve. And it's not cheap. That noted, their tech support is good, and responsive, and even the senior staff get involved in resolving problems.

I used their trial, and I didn't quite have enough time to test everything, so they gave me another couple weeks. During this extended trial, I got even busier, so again, I wasn't able to try everything that I wanted to try. So without even asking, they extended my trial. When I finally went to purchase the product, they helped me to decide a plan that would work for me, taking into consideration my needs and my budget, and they helped me to get something that was just right. Five stars. SaneBox is great. The product and their people.

I do rely on SaneBox. It works well. my subscription ran out today and immediately i knew because i was inundated with spam. Once in a while, i need to look in the filtered box to find a retrieved password or a note from a new friend, but I rely heavily on SaneBox. I do check the filtered mail periodically. the easiest way is to put them in order by sender and skim through them. I can usually spot the rare sender I want to hear from quite easily. then when you pull that into your inbox, SaneBox learns.

For those of us who are inundated with email these days (read: everyone), SaneBox is a very useful service for helping one maintain her or his sanity. I've been using SaneBox for about nine months, and it it has helped me tame my Inbox by separating the wheat from the chat. It isn't totally automatic and takes some time to train, but it is a time-saver once you train it. If you need a helping-hand from Tech Support, you can't beat it. Your inquiry is answered quickly and followed up promptly until your issue is resolved. All-in-all, a terrific company and service. BTW, if you receive an email from the President of the company, reply to it if you like because it isn't computer generated. You will receive a prompt and personal reply from him. That blew me away the first time it happened, and even the second time recently.

I used to get HUNDREDS of emails a day and felt the need to constantly monitor my emails. I’d flag them, move them into different folders, etc., but important emails still got lost in the shuffle. I started using Sanebox on a 2 week trial about a year ago and was at first a bit skeptical (how was this program going to know what emails were important to me?), but after only a few days, I was hooked; I was getting my life back instead of being glued to my email! The sanebox filtering works and I get the important emails in my inbox for follow up and I can review the @sanelater folder when time permits. I also take advantage of the sane reminders that pop up in my inbox on a schedule I choose rather than having to remember to go to a follow up folder and am also now using the @SaneNoReplies folder to monitor that I receive responses from sent emails. In the beginning, I was saving at least 10 hours a week and even now that my email volume has decreased, I’m still saving several hours a week. I use Sanebox on both my work and personal email accounts and I must say, the sanity I’ve gained far outweighs the minimal cost for the service. With everything now being email driven, it’s crucial for email to work for me, not against me. Sanebox has solved that problem. Thank you sane box for saving me from email hell! I was getting so overwhelmed with email that I was contemplating changing address and starting again! SaneBox quickly and easily enabled me to get back in charge. Now I know I won't miss anything important...and I never see any of the junk... saving me hours of filtering. Works well on both my 'work' Outlook account and on Gmail. Roddy, London
