Sam The Concrete ManReviews of samtheconcreteman.com

Gregg was awesome, but the workers were breaking stuff in areas they were working, and trying to act like they didn't do it. They would half fix things, and getting them to come back was like pulling teeth. Don't hire them to do anything but concrete.

Our recent driveway and front walkway replacement more than exceeded our expectations – such an amazing transformation! Jonathan and his crew were on time, polite and always kept us in the loop on the next steps throughout the entire process. If we had any questions or concerns, Jonathan responded promptly. Our project was completed on time and the crew took extra care cleaning everything up. We especially appreciated the extra care and concern they took to preserve our existing garden landscaping. Quality workmanship and professionalism – highly recommend!!!

The workers were great, but from the bid process to the final product with management was a problem. I shouted them pictures and pointed out the type of car pad I wanted and when all the pouring was done there was no curb like I asked for. Which meant my neighbors yard now had a high drop off. So of course since it was not specifically in the bid they said it would be extra and cost a high amount because that small amount of concrete would be expensive. So my other option was a dry stack wall for an additional 1000 dollars. Well that got done then it had been placed on my neighbors property. Ugh!!! I told them about it and they said they could give me a bid for taking the wall down. Aren’t they the experts should they not know where the property line is. By this time I was done with them. I will not pay another dime to them to remove something they placed wrong. Never again!!!!

Had a totally positive experience working with Ethan and the excellent crew at Sam the Concrete Man. They were prompt, experienced, and finished everything on time. Several neighbors stopped by to tell me how good everything looked. Highly recommend!

The guys that did the actual work were great - punctual, did good work, etc. but the owner was not very helpful. Communication was poor at best, didn’t follow through with requests and I had to contact him multiple times to get things done. Once he got the business he dropped off the radar.

I had several companies come out and price their work and Sam the Concrete Man definitely offered the best deal with the best quality of work. The men worked around my schedule and were very neat and did a great job replacing cracked slabs in my driveway.

We used Sam the Concrete Man in March 26 to replace some cracked sections of our large driveway. They were able to do the work while we were on vacation. They gave us several reasons why the old concrete was cracked and said they would replace with new concrete. While we were gone we received a text explaining that our concrete was poured to 5” instead of the usual 4” and we had the option to pour the new slabs at 4” the price quoted and they would just use extra base material to fill it in for 900 bucks or pour it at 5” for 3k more. We didn’t want substandard concrete so we went with the 5”. When we got home all looked good. Approximately 2 months later I noticed that the cracks were back in 3 of the sections. We contacted Joey and told him. He came out and looked at it. Then we were put on hold for several weeks before we found out there was some kind of insurance inspection started and we had to wait for their findings. That was more than strange. Warranty is not insurance. I contacted Joey again and he said the owner was going to call. I missed his call but he left a message that came across all wrong. Trying to say he pulled some survey that says we have terrible soil here. I’m sure that’s why they dug tons of rock out when building our pool 🙄. I’m thinking if that were so as concrete experts would they had offered to pour it at 4” instead of 5”? Also don’t experts pull these surveys before they pour to avoid these issues or only afterwards to defend them not backing the warranty? We are waiting to hear back from the owner, I now fear it will be an excuse duck and cover call. If they do not remedy this situation this review will be only the tip of the iceberg. Until then I would not recommend any company that doesn’t honor their warranty.

This company spun an ad across our Facebook dashboard promising quality workmanship, communication and customer care. We attempted to hire this company but unfortunately all we received were silly juvenile telephone crank calls Hang Ups and run around in circles.. Anyone would be a fool to remotely considering hiring this joke of an Internet presence
