Thank you for sharing your feedback. At RRCats, we’re upfront that our catalytic converter pricing is based on precise recovery of precious metals, and not all units contain materials that meet our buying standards. Our process—unlike walk-in local recyclers—relies on mailed-in items that must meet certain thresholds to ensure fair, transparent, and reliable value assessments across the country. We never claim to pay the most or to purchase every catalytic converter; our goal is to offer consistent, trustworthy pricing based on true metal content, not just appearance. While it’s unfortunate we couldn’t purchase your converters, we hope you found a solution that worked for you. We always aim for clarity and integrity in every quote we provide.

Hi there — we’re sorry to hear about your frustration and truly regret that your experience with RRCats didn’t meet expectations. Our goal is always to provide a clear, legal, and customer-focused service when it comes to selling scrap catalytic converters. Because each converter's value depends on details like the unit itself, condition, and vehicle specs, we do ask for specific photos to ensure accurate and fair quotes. Our process is designed to comply with all federal and state laws regarding catalytic converter transactions, which is why we sometimes require additional verification like title photos or physical unit images. We understand this can be frustrating, especially when local laws restrict removal. If you're ever in a position to ship the converters legally and safely, our team would be more than happy to assist you again. Appreciate you sharing your feedback — it helps us improve our service and better explain our process to customers in the future.

Hey Justin, we're not sure why you would leave a review like this based on your experience with us. Did we buy a catalytic converter from you? Or did we just provide a quote? We don't have any record of working with you based on your display name. If you would provide our team more context perhaps we can work on improving our services or understand why you would rate us this way.

Roger, we are sad to hear we have not met your expectations for your transaction with our team. We would like to chat with you more about this process and if it was resolved for you. It seems like our team wasn't notifying the accounting team properly for the canceling of the check.

Eloy, we are sorry to hear your experience didn't meet your expectations. As we mentioned in our reply with proof in pictures and videos, the converter you sent us was only 1/4 full with precious materials. When we quoted you, we were clear about the price being based on 100% full converter. We hope that you can understand that we must be fair with our pricing based on the material we receive.

Similar to your other review, we are honest about the way we receive materials from customers like you, including a full video of your package being opened and inspected by our team from the beginning to end.
