Blamed the customer, did not reimburse
4 or so years ago we purchased your milk paint and bonding agent to use on the walls of a small bedroom because you said it could be used on walls. At the time you told us it would have no odor once dry/cured even with the bonding agent. But for 3 plus years it still had an acrid odor, (possibly the casein) even detected by our worker who is not sensitive to odors. So we lost one of our 2 bedrooms and my elderly husband does not have his own bed/room. We had no idea how we could remedy the situation so consulted with some folks. First you told us to use your sealant on it and that did nothing except ruin the plum wall because your guy did not tell us it would cause white streaks (Should’ve received compensation for that) So we looked into an AFM sealer. We used it on all the walls and ceiling that had your milk paint. We left it for another year and just recently added 4 more coats of AFM sealant and it may have done the trick, finally! We highly recommend you advise folks NOT to use this paint on walls. It seems great for wood furniture and wood projects. We have gone through a lot of money to remedy this and I’m catastrophically disabled. You owe us an apology at the least, but you will probably turn it back on the customer. My father in law was a store owner businessman and he always gave the customer the benefit of doubt. This doesn’t mean we won’t use your products in the future for wood etc. but we needed to make you aware of how difficult this was for us. We had to redo the plum wall with a different eco paint After so many tries with the plum milk paint which got ruined by your sealant. (And no, there was nothing wrong in our walls underneath, as you tried to say, we checked)

Thank you for reaching out and sharing the details of your experience. We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you faced with your room and the stress this caused your family. We’ve recently been reviewing older feedback that had previously been missed, and we regret that we weren't able to support you more effectively while this was happening. While milk paint is a traditional finish with specific application guidelines for different surfaces, it is clear that in this instance, the result was not what you expected and the process became incredibly frustrating. We sincerely apologize for the lack of clear communication regarding the sealant and for any guidance that didn’t meet your needs at the time. We appreciate that you are still willing to consider our products for wood projects.
