I recently had my relatively new and relatively expensive hearing aids repaired or replaced (not sure which) by ReSound. One of the accessories I chose at the time of purchase was a TV Streamer+. Both prior to repair/replacement AND while using a loaner pair, this device worked fine. Now it doesn’t. After a 40 minute phone call with ReSound technical support specifically for the TV Streamer + device, I was advised that the problem was that the firmware in the device was outdated and therefore not compatible with the newly repaired/replaced hearing aids. Their solution: go back to my audiologist so that they could speak to an engineering team. When I asked why I couldn’t speak to this team directly, I was given no answer. Because I have somewhat limited another trip to my provider is not easy. This is not the first or second time that ReSound has abdicated their responsibility. If I could get my money back for this purchase, I would.
