Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we’re truly sorry your stay fell short of what you expected. We want to be transparent about how bookings work so you know where to turn. Reservations Portal acts as an intermediary between travelers and the properties themselves. The property supplier provides the room descriptions and is responsible for the condition of the property and its services. Because the property operates the room and its facilities, concerns like these are best raised with the property directly, ideally during your stay so they have the chance to correct the problem on the spot (for example, by moving you to another room or repairing the door). If an issue can’t be resolved at the property, you’re welcome to contact us, and we will do our best to help within the policies that apply to your booking. Any refund or compensation for a stay is governed by the supplier’s own cancellation and refund policies, which we don’t control, so we can’t promise a particular outcome. Still, we would like to hear the details of what happened. You can reach us at [email protected]. Please include your name, the email address used for the booking, and your reservation details. Thank you again for letting us know, and we’re sorry this stay wasn’t a better one.

Hi, Douglas. Thanks for taking the time to let us know!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we’re sorry your stay didn’t fully live up to your expectations. Reservations Portal acts as an intermediary between travelers and our hotel and travel suppliers. The property is responsible for its room details, photos, furnishings, and housekeeping standards, and the photos on our site are meant as a general guide to the type and level of accommodation. Unfortunately, as an independent travel network, we are not affiliated with the hotel and cannot fix these issues directly. If issues like these come up during a future stay, we encourage you to let or the property know right away. If you have any further questions or concerns, we'd be happy to answer those at [email protected] Thank you again for the feedback. We hope we’ll have the chance to help you find a better fit for your next trip.

Thank you for your feedback, and I’m sorry this experience was frustrating. I’d like to clarify how the charges came about. Your original booking was at a refundable rate. Under our modification policy, when a booking is modified, the new booking is confirmed at a non-refundable rate, regardless of the original rate type. This is shown on the checkout screen before you proceed and in the confirmation email for the new booking. Your first modification (new dates) was priced higher than the original, so the difference was charged. Because that modified booking was non-refundable, your second modification (a room change) meant canceling it with the property, which carried a cancellation penalty that was passed along to you. We applied the refundable portion of your payment to the new reservation, so the additional charge reflected only the remaining balance. The amounts you were charged were the price differences and the property’s penalty, not a separate modification fee from us. If you’d like to go over your reservation again or have other questions, please contact us at [email protected] or (888) 450-6644.

Hi, Mike. We're glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with Lafayette Inn. As a independent travel network, we are not directly affiliated with the hotel, but we are happy to hear that you're satisfied with your choice and the value of your stay.

Hi, Lisa! We're glad to hear that booking through us was easy - we're not the hotel but we're glad you liked the location as well.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we’re truly sorry about your experience. Arriving to a room that wasn’t what you booked, and then having trouble getting timely help is not the vacation you were hoping for, and we understand how frustrating that was. We’d like to explain where things stand and how we can help. Reservations Portal acts as an intermediary between you and the hotel. We are not affiliated with the hotel’s staff or operations, and the hotel is responsible for the condition of the property. That said, a room that doesn’t match what was booked is a legitimate concern. Your reservation was booked at a non-refundable rate. Unfortunately, refunds on these bookings are determined by the hotel, and we do not control their refund process. However, we want to advocate for you and want to give the hotel everything it needs to review your request favorably. We emailed you a link to submit your early checkout/folio documentation. This link has not yet been opened and will expire tomorrow. Please complete it as soon as possible so we can submit your case to the hotel. Once we receive their determination, we will contact you right away. If you can’t locate the link or need a new one, please contact us at [email protected] and we’ll gladly help.
