SCAM Tried to down load Uber and to order taxi the day I was going on holiday , not sure how this happened but had1p then £29.90 Taken from account . I didn’t see any Emails as on holiday without work phone , I have contacted Readverse but they say I have signed up for a subscription which is rubbish , I’m in the process of trying to get a charge back from bank .

This is definitely a scam : without warning , they manage to charge you €29.90 monthly for no service or product received . Let’s hope someone manages to stop them as the banks haven’t been very helpful as per the reviews

SCAM ALERT - This is a scam. The company offers a trial for 0.01 euro and then a day later takes nearly 30 euros off your card for a monthly subscription. It is not clear what service or goods they provide, as I certainly did not receive anything. Impossible to reach anyone on their so-called customer service phone number in Amsterdam. No response to emails. Avoid!

While trying to download instructions on my new oven, a banner for Readverse came up, I found myself subscribed to this company inadvertently, I don’t know how. £29.90 taken from my bank … phoned bank tried to cancel, had to cancel bank card get a new one… still no refund from last month and now they have taken another £29.90 even though I have a new card… dealing with fraud team at bank now…I recently lost my husband and I could really do without all this stress… what a scam way of getting a customer base, not even sure of what you are selling 😡😡😡

After reading the poor reviews regarding customer service I was worried when my son had been charged. My email was responded to within 48 hrs and they looked into it for me and have now refunded my son his money. I a m happy with the experience I received and the communication was very professional.

This is a scam. Clicked on banner accidentally on an unrelated website only to find myself subscribed to “free trial”(one day!) to something I didn’t have any interest in nor requested. Then tried to unsubscribe by clicking link that didn’t work! A day later £29.90 deducted from my bank. Then was able to unsubscribe. Now taking action through bank to secure my account and get money refunded. I am pleased to confirm that after being challenged on their process they have agreed to refund the £29.90
