We had our QUIC.cloud Image Optimization completely stuck since August 6 — over 1,900 images sitting frozen in the queue, with manual retries and cron triggers showing zero progress. We'd already ruled out server load, cron configuration, and general connectivity on our own, but the actual cause remained elusive. Ashok's approach to this ticket stood out. Rather than the usual generic troubleshooting, he built a genuinely clever, minimal diagnostic: a bare WordPress AJAX handler with zero LiteSpeed code involved, tested two ways — once via a normal browser request, and once via PHP's own wp_remote_post() function calling it internally. The browser version worked fine; the server-to-server version failed every time. That distinction was the key that unlocked everything. It turned out our hosting provider had a server-level security layer silently intercepting exactly this type of internal request — invisible to normal site visitors, but fatal to any plugin (like LiteSpeed Cache's image optimization) that relies on the server calling itself. Without Ashok's specific test isolating that distinction, we'd likely still be chasing the wrong leads. Once we had this evidence in hand, we were able to go directly to our host with a precise, reproducible diagnosis instead of a vague "something's broken" report — which made the whole resolution process faster once their end was fixed. The image pipeline is now processing thousands of images automatically again, exactly as it should. Genuinely impressed by the technical depth here — this wasn't surface-level support, it was real root-cause engineering. Thank you, Ashok.
