At Quantum Gear, we understand that a failing transmission is stressful — and that trusting someone with a repair this important isn't an easy decision. That's why we focus on doing things the right way, from the first click to the day your unit arrives. We specialize in remanufactured GM automatic transmissions, with our core lineup built around the 6L80 and 6L90. Every unit goes through a complete remanufacturing process, where worn and failure-prone components are replaced and restored. Before anything ships, each transmission is tested on a dynamometer, so we know it performs the way it should — not just on paper, but under real load.We ship nationwide. Ordering is done online, and your unit is delivered by freight straight to you, wherever you are in the country.Whether you're a repair shop, a mechanic, or a driver simply trying to get your vehicle back on the road, our goal is the same: make the process clear and straightforward, and hand you a unit you can rely on. No guesswork, no runaround — just a properly remanufactured transmission and people who are ready to help when you have questions.

Chris, a repeat customer is the best compliment there is, and 10 stars on top of that, come on. Really glad to have you. Take care of those two rigs and we'll be here whenever you need us.

Justin, appreciate you. Getting it right the first time is the whole job, glad it felt that way on your end.
Shipping was fast and simple with the core return being just as simple. Transmission was in good shape and seems to be working great. Really liked the fact that t was flashed already and as easy as plug and play.

Thanks Jay, glad the service and the shipping both landed well.
To start off with, i am a person that likes to talk to a person when dealing with parts, especially when working with major parts, Like transmissions. Quantum made this effortless, just gave them the year, VIN, and they handled everything from there. From ordering to core return, was simple as could be. Was easy, and simple, and would do it again.

That means a lot, Michael. A transmission is not something you want to order blind, so being able to talk it through and just hand us the year and VIN is exactly how we like to do it. Glad the core return was painless too.
I highly recommend this company for transmissions. We installed one in my 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT Z71 with the help of my dad‘s nephew after installing, took it on a test run within 5 to 10 miles of test driving the transmission was dialed in tight shifting correctly and running better than ever.

Running better than ever after a 5 to 10 mile shakedown is a great sign, Edward. Glad the install went smooth with your dad's nephew. Thanks for the recommendation!
The transmission was rebuilt new as expected and arrived timely. The only down side is the billing process. Once you order your locked in and then the second bill comes for shipping and core charge. It would be nice if this process was more transparent up front. Just tell people what the all in cost is!

Thank you for the honest feedback, Jeff, and glad the unit was right and arrived on time. You are right about the billing, that is how our older system worked. We have since automated it, so the full cost including shipping and the core charge is calculated and shown at checkout up front. No more second bill. Appreciate you pointing it out.
