I stayed here for one night on September 13, 2026, in Room 219. The morning after my stay, I woke up with approximately 11 new, very itchy bites on my neck, under my chin, right calf, and ankle. I have attached photos of the bites. I immediately reported the issue to the hotel. The hotel subsequently had Modern Pest Services inspect Room 219. Their report confirms that the reason for the visit was a report of “BB and BB bites.” The technician reported finding no visible evidence of bed bugs during the inspection, although a preventive treatment was applied. I understand that the inspection did not confirm bed bugs, and I am not claiming that the bites alone prove an infestation. However, the timing and number of bites were very concerning, and I expected the hotel to take the situation more seriously and provide a reasonable resolution. Unfortunately, the hotel refused to refund the night. What has been most disappointing is not only the experience itself, but the handling of the complaint afterward. If you stay here, I would recommend carefully inspecting your room and luggage.

After staying at Quality Inn Airport in Columbia South Carolina. I left an honest but negative review on the property on Google Maps The front desk clerk was rude and suggested I walk in the rain to a convenience store to use their ATM to get a cash deposit, rather that use the onsite ATM in the guest laundry area. The front desk clerk wouldn't even stand and address me as a customer, I had to request that he stand up, and assist me. I placed the deposit on my credit card for documentation and my own financial protection. Now they are maliciously holding my deposit for 5-7 business days rather than returning my deposit the same day as the other properties that I have stayed at. Ive always received my deposit returned on the same day that I checked out. After I checked out and went to another Hotel close by, the front desk agent at the new hotel indicated that the manager from the airport Quality Inn had already called and mentioned me, specifically and suggested this property not rent me a room. Quality Inn EARNED the negative review they received. I find it extremely offensive that they would call another hotel that was NOT a quality inn, to maliciously attempt to prevent me from getting another room. While Choice Hotels support staff have gone above and beyond to try and rectify this, the repeated harassment and violation of my privacy are completely unacceptable. I've spent nearly 1000.00 in the month of August and September at Quality Inn properties, and I've provided many positive reviews related to my stays at these properties. I GIVE the reviews that businesses EARN, both positive and negative. I will say it will be a long time before I walk into another Quality Inn due to the malicious retaliation that I am experiencing with a hotel manager that would rather attack a paying customer rather than take ownership of the issues that their employees have created. DO BETTER Quality Inn!!!!

I am filing a formal complaint against this property regarding my stay booked through Booking.com on July 7, 2026, with check-in on July 8, 2026. Upon arriving at the property on July 8, I was met with severe health and safety violations that made it impossible to stay. The room was completely filthy and actively infested with cockroaches. Furthermore, the property environment was entirely unsafe: unauthorized individuals were loitering outside, and children were tampering with and touching guests' parked vehicles. Because the property failed to provide a safe and sanitary environment, I returned the keys to the front desk immediately and left. The front desk employee, Asai, acknowledged the situation and explicitly promised that I would receive a full refund. I have full photographic evidence of the unsanitary conditions. Despite Asai's verbal agreement, the property has failed to process the refund. Furthermore, they are actively dodging communication from Booking.com by refusing to answer calls from international customer service numbers. This is a bad-faith business practice to keep my money for a room that was completely uninhabitable. I have full audio recordings of my interactions and phone calls regarding this issue, proving that a refund was promised. Desired Outcome: I demand that management immediately honor the agreement made by their staff member, Asai, and issue a full refund to my original payment method.

Me and my husband want to lay in bed and we pulled the covers back and found feces on the bed sheets. The company could improve by changing the sheets and cleaning up the rooms after the guests check out of the hotel after their staying period.

Quality Inn in Shepherstown WV: I do not recommend. For anyone that is curious, we had to cancel and asked to reschedule our reservation due to my unforseen cracked tooth which resulted in unrelenting pain which needed antibiotics and pain killers from 6/18-6/22 then on 6/23 a tooth extraction /bridge. (Copy of invoice furnished upon request) We had their room booked throgh Expedia and recently received their reply that "Quality Inn would NOT be able to waive the penalty nor refund". To me, this is poor business because they just lost the reschedule & at least a decent review. No room needed to be cleaned, no breakfast needed to be served, no service needed to be given. It's not as if this place is BOOKED. Poor business. Request type: Refund Itinerary number: 72072365964112

I am in Sumter, SC visiting. 1-The room is nice and the bed is comfortable, and the $72. a night price is great compared to the other hotels surrounding the area. 2-BUT, I am a non-smoker and was told this was a non-smoking room. Well, what immediately turned me off is the many occupants who pull out their rooms office chairs and sit and smoke outside their rooms! You have to constantly ask, "Excuse me?" 2-It is also the level of people and feeling like you're being watched- as a woman. 3-The Inn is nice and made like a quad with a pool in the middle. 4-The internet is very poor. They only have I believe 85 channels and the tv continually buffers so good luck watching a tv show or movie in its entirety.

Nice and spacious room that Clarion provided me last night. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to book it again(maybe stay for the entire weekend). I even adventure out to the computer room and workout room. WOW, Clarion had everything I wanted and then some. This morning I woke up to an AMAZING breakfast. Can I get an Outstanding Job!!! What needed to be said at the right time. Rashad Hawkins Clarion 3640 E. Cork ST Kalamazoo,MI 49001

So I would say this hotel was a lil rough but the breakfast in the morning made up for it all.. the rooms were very clean just outdated..other than that it was a lovely little stay a lil bit pricey especially for in March but it did what it was supposed to so I guess that is all that matters
