Phone calls returned , my memory is not doing well and they have been so patient with me helping me out with this process and making it simple , explaining over and over to me has to be frustrating but they walked me through the whole process and it was money well spent

My retirement plan is with the Federal Gov't so QDROs are not appropriate. You must use a Court Order Acceptable for Processing (COAP) with my Gov't Retirement Plan, which is slightly different from a QDRO. There should be a Service Provider for COAPs. I think I will start one!

You are correct! QDRO is used in the industry in a generic fashion, but the proper document that serves the same purpose for Federal Government Plans specifically is certainly a Court Order for Acceptable Processing (COAP). Our website does indeed provide this COAP document and the appropriate requirements when selecting the corresponding Federal Government Plan type. If you have any questions please let us know., You can reach us at 1-877-770-2270 and we can help you with your COAP.
Your contacts have friendly and clear. Your process seems, at this point, very efficient. You have always been available and helpful.
