1st off, why is general Insurance inside my Life insurance exam ? Their Life Insurance exam barely aligns with what you need to know to be a good and knowledgeable Life insurance agent. Prometric doesn't even tell you the questions that you got wrong so that you can study questions that you got wrong before retaking the exam. The exam is horrible. It doesn't at all help anyone become a good Life insurance agent.

After logging into the Prometric app 5 times I was finally rejected for the fifth time and told to contact Prometric directly because they were unsure about how to help me because I was taking the exam in a kitchen where there was no illegal or problematic material lying around but they somehow had an issue with common items like frying pans and pots lying around. It is exhausting to log in so many times and still not be able to do this exam. Bear in mind I'm doing this at 1am in Australia and somehow all the time zones cater to - not sure - the USA or something and I've had to put up curtains and make special arrangements to use this kitchen in a common facility as well in a hostel as I'm staying here because I don't have the financial means to stay in a private room myself. They somehow also had an issue with the CCTVs which were in the corners of the kitchen for some reason? I have paid a lot of money to the certification company just to do this and to spend so much time and effort in scheduling this just to have their shitty platform reject my living circumstances so many times when I just wanna take the exam and pass is kinda spirit-destroying. DO NOT USE PROMETRIC WHERE POSSIBLE.

Disconnected 20 times even if my internet was working perfectly

If Hell exists then one of the punishments is to go through a ProProctor exam. Genuinely one of the worst experiences I've had in my years of living. Everything from the app to their proctors was a miserable experience. No wonder they don't have a feedback survey/form because they know their services suck! It took me 2 hours and 7 attempts to even ACCESS the exam. Unfortunately I failed by 1 question. And I'm not hesitant to say this experience played a part in me failing! I even made an account here just to leave this! Whatever this was scarred me so deeply I feel like some part of my soul got damaged. Like that was a pre-ProProctor and post-ProProctor version of me. To conclude: I much rather stub my toe 1000 times than sit for another ProProctor online exam.

WORST TESTING EXPERIENCE EVER!! I had to take three different exams and for each one, the check in process took an hour due to different requirements from different people checking you in. Everyone is hard to understand and the check in process is over the top ridiculous! Thank goodness I don’t have test anxiety but for anyone who does have it ProProctor will send you spiralling. NOBODY needs that stress before an important exam!

I booked my CBE accounting exam with them remotely and was a darkest day in my life so far. The proctor were not professional at all and I had quite a few security checks and one of the guy was speaking rude and I said I want to change the agent but unfortunately got the same guy again. I finally went through all the checks and sat my exam but got disconnected suddenly. And they totally had no human feeling, even cooler than an AI. After I got disconnected, I was told to take my pen and paper to write down the test sponsor's phone number. And that's the only thing I can do. I had to stop my exam in the middle with confusion and frustration. I didn't have any internet issue and got disconnected totally out of my control. I cannot believe this could happen in these days and so many candidate are using this very very bad proctor provider and I am sure I am not the only one who had such bad experience. I am still waiting on their confirmation if they can reschedule my exam, totally hate it! Also, one more thing, is the working laptop with touchable screen is disallowed to use in the exam? If yes, write that down in the user guide!!!!

Proproctor is the absolute worst remote exam proctoring company I have ever run into. I have been unfortunate enough to take 5 exams through PP and every time is a nightmare. They have absolutely no work around for IDs that have blurring security features. Meaning if you have a new ID, you literally can't get into your exam unless you get lucky with a proctor that has some kind of workaround. Most will just reject you and send you to "IT support". The IT support that they send you to, it is completely non existent. They will copy paste answers to you that have absolutely nothing to do with your question. Of the 5 exams I did with PP, I was lead to the IT team for support for 4 of them. The IT support did not help me a single time. I just had to brute force my way through the intro process until I could connect to a proctor who had some trick to solve my issue. Aside from this, the proctors sometimes speak very poor English. Normally this is not a problem, but in this situation it can be very difficult to understand the terms that they are asking you to agree to for your exam. Since the whole intro process is so hard to go through, you're just kind of stuck agreeing to terms that you can't even understand. Because that's a better option than risking going through the intro process again and having issues. I have no idea why serious certifications are still proctored through this company. It creates this nightmare gauntlet that you have to make it through before you're allowed to start your already stressful exam.

It would be hard to be worse. Would not let me wear PRESCRIPTION glasses, had to verify myself twice and every other awful thing you can imagine.
