Purchased two games since which was 'clair obscur: expedition 33' and 'the precinct' that both steam keys work fine. There was small a problem during for expedition 33 before launch day which the key was delayed due to distributor supplies (which i'm guessing the game was getting popular and a good deal for price on playsum) but the next day i got the key and neat discount code so thanks.

Bought a bakery simulator key on 23rd January which was not even available (despite saying instant delivery) and still not 3 months later, a literal scam.

Hi Louis, thank you for sharing your experience and bringing this to our attention. I’ve just replied to your email directly as well with a full refund and you can also keep the game once it's in stock (I'm pushing with the publisher to get this done asap) First, I want to sincerely apologize for the frustration and long wait you’ve experienced. And I want to thank you for being as patient as you have been for so long. At Playsum, we work closely with publishers and distributors to keep our key inventory stocked, and the majority of games are delivered instantly. However, when a title goes out of stock, it moves to back-order status-allowing customers to secure the current sale price and receive their key as soon as more are supplied by the publisher. Back-orders are usually fulfilled within a few business days or, on the longer side, weeks, but we recognize that Bakery Simulator has been an exception, and this is not the experience we want for our customers. In recent weeks I've been communicating with our distributor and the publisher to get more keys in for Bakery Simulator, however it slipped past us that there was still a pending back-order for it. Had I realized, we would have reached out sooner. With back-orders, for transparency, there is a button and messaging on the product page and checkout page that the game is on back-order, so that customers can make an informed purchase. We've made several improvements to our store in the last months, and we continue to improve this with an upcoming feature that will provide an estimated wait time for a back-order based on past resupply times from that publisher. As a small, growing business, we’re always learning and working to do better. I’m truly sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment. If you have any further questions or need assistance, I'm here to help Thank you again for your patience and for giving us the opportunity to make things right. Best, Alex Boyd Co-founder & Co-CEO
Purchased a game from this site and it was unfortunately backlogged because of the popularity surrounding the game. Hpwever, I received it the very next next day and I am extremely satisfied. I will definitely purchase from them in the future. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a deal, reliable, great customer service, this is the place to go. And if you have any issue, their customer service team will make it right. Give them a chance, you won't be disappointed.

Preordered a game, did not receive the key upon launch (despite them stating that I would at the point of purchase). About 2 hours after launch I received an email explaining that their distributor has some issues delivering keys. More than 8 hours after launch - still without a key - I requested a refund and bought the key in a different store that did have keys on hand. I appreciated the email two hours in but as a customer it ultimately is secondary *why* the keys are not available, the time itself matters more. I still give four stars because they have good deals, seem committed to good customer service and it's not their fault if the distributor has issues. I believe with already released games this most likely won't be an issue as well. However, I would be wary of preordering here again if I want to play immediately upon release.

Hi Sareth, Thank you for your honest feedback. I completely understand that, regardless of the reason, not receiving your pre-ordered key at launch is disappointing when you're excited to play right away. The overwhelming demand for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 caught both us and the publisher by surprise. The majority received their pre-orders ahead of time, and only the last 29 orders had to wait for a key resupply. I reached out to our distributor and the publisher at 3:00 am as soon as I realized there was a key shortage, but that doesn't change the fact that we promised access on the game's launch hour that we couldn't deliver. While we've since received additional keys, and fulfilled all pending pre-orders, I understand why you chose to purchase elsewhere. We truly appreciate your balanced review despite this frustrating experience. We'll be looking to see how we can work with distributors and publishers to prevent situations like this from happening again with high-demand titles. Thank you for recognizing our commitment to customer service. I hope we can make your next experience with Playsum better. Alex Boyd, Co-founder & Co-CEO
I have been waiting for more than 2 weeks for a game key. I have opened two tickets asking for a refund and they have not responded to the first ticket I opened for over a week. Edit: Just like I was upset at the time about the delay in responding to my ticket, I understand that we’re all human and can make mistakes or have oversights. Not only did they reply with an apology, but they also gave me a voucher for future purchases, which I appreciate. I made another purchase from the store today and the delivery was instant. I hope things go well for them, and I see that the overall reviews are positive. Good job and good customer service after all.

Hi Alberto, I apologize for the delay in responding to your ticket and for the frustration caused by waiting for your game key. This title has been in high demand, leading to unexpected delays from the publisher. We processed a full refund for your purchase on Tuesday but due to an oversight didn't submit our response to your ticket until today. I appreciate your feedback, we're working to improve our communication and transparency around back-orders with follow-up emails and estimated wait times. Thank you for sharing your experience, and we hope to serve you better in the future. Best, Alex - Co-founder & Co-CEO Team Playsum
It's crazy how underrate this store seems. You get pretty good deals and everything went perfectly smooth when i bought a game.
