I admire your bravery asking for a review. We had lousy HVAC air handler installation, poor quality, a mess left in attic, multiple breakdowns and multiple calls until we finally were able to convince this company that there was a real problem (defective/broken pan and leaking for a year) and they brought out a better team to replace the handler. Took one year. And they do not coordinate a final certificate from town for installation. Basically, you are on your own with that one. Positive - at least they finally came out and fixed it. But for the price (1/3 higher than other estimates I received) and the trouble, strongly recommend you get a second or third opinion before signing up with these folks.

I'm a big fan of using local business, but after a number of frustrating experiences with Pipeworks, I've moved on to other providers. A simple job (replacing a flush master inside a toilet) was extremely expensive, especially since they are unwilling to roll the appointment fee into the repair fee. This first instance it more of a shame on me than an shame on them, but what followed is all on them. As part of this initial visit, it was determined that a new speciality toilet would be a good investment for the basement bathroom. I request a quote and was promised it in two days. After many follow-ups by email and phone, which were all met with excuses for the delay, and many weeks later I finally gave up and went a different route. Later, we were looking to add central AC and I called Pipeworks again. They came by and produced a quotation, but would then not return any of my emails or calls about the quote as I sought to understand a couple items they had outlined. In my opinion, like so many contractors, they would be able to double their business if they truly focused on customer service and responsiveness. Not only did they lose these two (sizable) jobs to competitors, they irritated me enough to take the time to write a review and warn others of their poor follow through and customer service.

I had my sump pump stop working which resulted in a flooded basement. I called Pipeworks and they arrived quite soon, figured out what was wrong very quickly and made the necessary repairs. I was very impressed with their knowledge, professionalism and they were basically nice guys. Pipeworks will be the first ones I call in the future.

we have used pipeworks for years. We had a new water heater and halo Installed two years ago. We were told that halo is an amazing product. I am sorry that I did not keep my water softener. We were told the reason why the halo system is not working properly for us is that the water heater we bought from pipeworks is too big for the halo product we currently have. To solve the issue we will need to purchase another product for the halo system to work correctly. I have left several voice messages and emails to solve the problem and have not heard back from them. In the mean while my brand new granite is becoming dicolored by the hard water that we have. I have become disenchanted with Pipeworks. 😞

Efficiently done, no mess to clean up. I can appreciate that everything is computed on the notebook....but I would like to have received a bill, for my records.

Pipe Works is there for us 24/7! We have used Pipe Works for HVAC, plumbing and water conditioning. We recently had a shower valve break and Pipe Works was there to find the leak, stop the leak and quickly replace the valve. We would recommend them to anyone!!!!
