I have been using Amazon Pharmacy for about two years. They used to be fairly dependable...delays in filling a prescription once or twice over the two years... but now twice within a week, they have sat for at least two days in "Pharmacist Review" status. When I call they say they are backed up in reviewing and hope to have it resolved soon. In both cases, amazingly, before I get off the call I get an email that it is shipping. So I recommend that within an hour of a prescription being submitted, you start calling and ask for a Manager. In all fairness I really should state that for the first year or so, Amazon Pharmacy delivery was great. But something has definitely changed for the worse. Mr. Bezos, please take note!

The process was easy but it was supposed to take 3 days to get my prescription, already an inconvenience when you are sick. Then 3 hours before it was supposed to arrive I received a message that it would be delayed. This service isn’t ready for the public.

1. RX had an error. So I needed a med more quickly than the Rx showed. So I went to new ENT who sent a correct RX to Amazon. Amazon would not honor the new RX until the end of the prior RX date. So I had them transfer the RX to my local pharmacy and that worked. 2. I have another RX with them. They will not refill until down to 7 day supply. Is my most important med - for sleep. Do not recommend Amazon pharmacy - does no good to talk to one of their pharmacists.

Delivered wrong prescription.

They are not accurate with information regarding deliveries. They state overnight services available however this is not the case. It maybe the case for the first order you put in but not after. They are easier to deal with than most local pharmacies because there is no line to deal with. Customer service is not the best. They are quick however not honest. I was chatting with a pharmacist and asked for a supervisor and he said there is no one else available however as the issue proceeded along he said he could escalate to a supervisor.....I did not like being lied to by their pharmacist.

delayed shipment- moving target delivery. if you can't get that right- why should I trust them

My order of medication multiples was to be delivered by U. P. S for some unknown reason by eleven o'clock p m Tuesday evening At 11:05 the package still wasn't here i contacted amazon pharmacy and was informed that it would be delivered Wednesday, maybe between ten thirty and four o'clock. When I explained that I was out of one of the medications and that i'm required to take the medication through daily, they put me on with the pharmacist who was to explain to me what I could do since I couldn't take my med and what it would mean if I didn't take it daily, as I am instructed to do. There was absolutely no explanation for why the medication was late and according to them, it was out for delivery. And had been since 4 o'clock in the afternoon. But according to the UPS website, it was not even on a truck. It's not a good thing not to have your blood pressure medication and be under stress of trying to deal with idiots.

Amazon keep moving the delivery date. Before ordering Amazon said it would be delivered the same day by 10:00 PM, then they moved delivery to the next day, again by 10:00 PM. Then they move the date again an other day. If you don't need your prescriptions delivered on a timely manner, then the service works ok. You just need to either order refills early or have plenty of days of supply to carry you through. If it is a new prescription, you are out of luck.
