I have been using Petcube for 1 week now and I can honestly say I'm in love! The setup is extremely easy-plug it in, download the app, and wait for it to update the software. That's pretty much it! The device itself fits in the palm of my hand so I was able to tuck it nicely into my media console in my living room. The living room is where my dog spends his day, so I've been able to peak in everyday for the past week and I've been surprised to see him doing a few things he knows he isn't supposed to...I had no idea! I've been able to speak to him through the device and he clearly heard me because he barked in response to my voice. I have also used the laser and after calibrating the unit, has worked beautifully. My dog honestly doesn't get tired of it. The night vision works great and we have been able to check in while we have been out at night. Overall, my family loves Petcube-it has truly given us peace of mind while we are out.

Initial customer service was bumpy, but the second representative to jump in was very helpful, polite, etc. (My initial device wouldn't connect and had to be sent back.) The device itself may not have been worth the investment for me, as it is difficult to hold my cat's attention. However, it functions very well and I can easily picture it entertaining my parent's 1 year old puppies endlessly.

I have had the best time with this product! There is something wonderful about being able to see my pets throughout the day when I'm not at home. I smiled the whole first day. We all seem amused by the flying treats! My only complaints (if they can even be called that) is that there is an echo when I try to talk to the fur babies; This could be user error. I also wish that I was able to scan the room and not just focus on one area or corner. Last, the treat hole seems to get very dirty from all of the crumbs, which has started to spill onto the floor directly below the unit. They're licked up eventually, so not a huge deal. Overall, I'm really enjoying having this part of our lives.

Was initially apprehensive to order the Petcube but absolutely love it! It is larger than I expected, for example, it's larger than our Wii console. When you 'throw a treat' via the app, the Petcube makes a quiet sound as it shifts the treats to the throwing area and although it has only been a few days, my dog is quickly picking up on the sound and runs to the Petcube when she hears it! It's fun to be able to check in on how she's doing while I'm at work and even say hello (though I'm not sure she understands that one yet!). One time I was even able to tell her to 'Get down' as she was sniffing at the edge of the kitchen table, as it's in front of our TV area but the area covered by the camera is honestly very wide! As a side benefit, it also honestly works great as a security feature as you can watch live but it also records anytime there is movement in the area. The only downside I've found so far is that there is a slight echo when you have the sound on and speak through the app to the device, as it picks up what the device speaker is giving out as well, but super minor overall.

This is an amazing device. It let me play with my cat while I'm absent for the week end and feed him. Extremely simple to fix and to know now it works. I love it !

We ordered this device to keep an eye on my dog, because she bark a little bit when we leave her alone. My dog love it from the first day and always waiting for a treats now(ha-ha-ha). I like that I can hear and even talk with my dog when I am not at home, but what I like more that you can schedule treats day, time and size of portion. It was easy to set up.

Great video feed, clear, the interactive audio is a feature I’m really enjoying, though my dog gets scared and runs away any time I talk to him on it, so I wish I got the Petcube bites version that drops little treats. It has a laser toy which would be awesome if you have cats, I only have dogs... It’s really sensitive to motion, the moving shadows from the trees outside the window in the room set it off, so does the ceiling fan if it’s in the frame. The set up was time consuming bc the reset button wasn’t easy to actually depress, and it wasn’t connecting to my WiFi quickly enough during my initial set up. But, once it finally did, it’s been smooth operation ever since.

Love this! It's small and compact and is just what I wanted.
