I closed in 2.5 weeks from time of application. That includes 3 rounds of underwriting back and forth. Mine was a slightly unique case so it was warranted. I had a lender unable to close me, so I went to Perl (Alex Margulis) based on positive reviews. Also a shout out to Terri Salerno for document management. Granted I was on top of my paperwork, returned requested items same day or next day but they were also super responsive and pushed to get my closing completed quickly as I lapsed on original mortgage commitment date. The only thing was rate was not super competitive and there is a 1295 origination fee. I gladly paid because mine was a precarious situation. So bargain shoppers may want to look elsewhere.
