It was ok for the help from the veterinary part but I would not buy any insurance from them

It's heartening to know the medical team came through when your pet needed them. That part matters most to us. Insurance is a big decision, and hesitation there is fair enough. If something specific left you uneasy about it, write to us at [email protected] and we'll walk you through it.
The app shows that my state is approved for virtual Rx appointments. I fulfilled the requirement to request the Rx appointment (chatted with a vet) when I then requested the Rx visit in told that it's not available. I emailed support and received a reply stating ohio is not approved for virtual Rx appointments. Such a misleading waste of my time. My poor dog is in pain and has mobility issues making it nearly impossible for an in person vet visit. I thought I'd found a solution to help my 15 y.o. dog. But no...Pawp lied. Thanks a whole lot

To ensure we can help you effectively, consultations focus on your pet's specific medical needs, and our veterinary professionals are unable to engage in general conversation outside of that scope. I had several problems with auto ship of heart meds for my pet. The system does not adjust the auto ship according to the amount of meds prescribed. A prescription can be 50 pills for a 60 day period which results in a order being needed before the next autoship. Then another auto shipment will be sent within two weeks resulting in too much medication on hand over and over. There is no method to correct this on the website and they don't have a working customer service number. Chat doesn't seem able to correct theses issues either. My pet collapsed on a Sunday, I rushed him to an emergency vet and we chose to euthanize him. The next day I checked the emergency plan I had been paying a year for to find that because I didn't stop and call them so they could direct me to a vet of their choice I don't qualify for that reimbursement. Maybe I am overly sensitive at this moment but nothing about this company's policies or systems give any confidence that they care about your pet or you as a customer.

We were over 900 miles away when our 10 year old dog escaped and was gone 3 days before returning home injured. Our adult children took him to the vet immediately, and we were not able to contact PAWP until later. To be honest I had just gotten used to paying every month and being lucky enough not to have to use the service, that I didn't think about calling them right away. So that was our first strike. Then they said they would consider our claim outside of the breach of rule-following, and immediately found another loophole. Though our vet had given us 9 pages of files that encompassed not only this incident in detail, but services rendered for our dog's whole life, this was not enough for them. I then sent them a photo of just ONE of our dog's injuries, a wound on his leg where it was cut completely to the bone, and bone and ligaments were showing. Nope. They also knew that he had to have xrays, and that his elbow was completely dis-jointed, which meant he was in a splint for well over a week. Still saying that they needed more info from the vet. I told them I could not fabricate what wasn't there, and finally I just told them to cancel. I have paid every month without fail since I've had the subscription - probably at least 2 years, not sure, but when I needed them, all they did was look for loopholes. Oh, they have what seem like kind and genuine people working the phones and e-mails, but when it all comes down to it, I feel it's all about the money. Typical.

The first Vet. That I talked to to find out if I should get my dog to the Vet. Was nice and show kindness. But the second I contact was trying to say that I didn't had a video call before taking my pet to the x-rays. And the last person that I contacted only showed concerned about money and she didn't gave me a clear information about how in case of an emergency surgery things will be handled. It was like already trying to tell me that it will be very difficult to apply and a long process. I didn't had a good feeling about the veracity of how they pay for an emergency .

Very disappointed that I do not get access to my emergency fund, waited a while for response on support. If you’re going to offer an emergency fund you should allow people to use it

I did as suggested but my puppy still has trouble with the leg and since I have no money due to job loss I have not been able to take him to the vet. Considering canceling this
