Mountain Splendor was one of the first cabins built in the Starr Crest Resort. The resort was a dream become reality by Randy Ussery Construction. Outrageous Cabins has been in business since 2009 and has grown from just 4 cabins to 53. The owner Thomas Gigliotti takes great pride in his cabins and sees to it that each Guest has the best possible stay and experience from the time of check-in to the time of departure.

This cabin is amazing!! It had great views, it was close to everything but made you feel like you were miles away from everything. I highly recommend this cabin!! I would go back and stay in a heartbeat!! Everything was clean and nice!! We loved it!!

My family and I visited one of the cabins on our a Spring Break March/ April. We enjoyed everything about our cabin. We plan to visit again soon and rent another cabin through the company.

The staff was very friendly and eager to help. The cabin was very clean and everything we hoped it would be. Will definitely be back, already planning our next trip.

Tiffany, We look forward to having you stay with us again!
This was my first experience with any cabin. I have always heard stories of how much fun and peaceful they are. Let me tell you they really are. It is so nice when everything leading up to the trip to the end has no problems to work out. The cabins are just beautiful and easy access to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I can not think of a single reason why we would not do the whole trip over again. Thank you!

The cabin was great with more than enough room. I would recommend to without any hesitations.

The cabin we stayed in twice now (A touch of class) is great! It is incredibly well maintained and looks like it is still new. The price is very reasonable too! I

We stayed at the Serenity cabin. It was very clean & nicely decorated. Great rates & location. Close to parkway. We would stay again.

I figured out why they are call Outrageous Cabins. Its an Outrageous price for a sub standard cabin. It was clean, and pretty and all that but not worth the price paid. The hot tub only had 2 working jets and it seemed to be very old and ready to to die. The "fireplace" did not work as well. Seriously? A cabin...in the mountains, in the winter has an electric fireplace and even it doesnt work. smh. All in all my wife and I had a great time in the area but the cabin did not contribute much to that great time Yes we called the office and were told to wait 1-2 hours to see if the electric fireplace would magically start working. Then when we called back after waiting and it still didn't work, no one answered. As for the jets we didn't know it until we used the hot tub that night .We called several times the next day and no one answered. We were there to enjoy our vacation not spend time hunting down your staff.

Daniel, We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay at the cabin Love Nest. We apologize all the jets were not working. Did you call the office to let us know? We could have called our repair man to have the jets fixed. I would also like to let you know that we do have some cabins in the Country Pines Log Home Resort just 2 miles down the road and they do have wood burning fireplaces. Thank you. We do apologize that you were not able to reach anyone at the office. I just checked back to that weekend in our records( March 27 & 28th) and we were having problems with our internet (our internet and phones are the same service provider) which is why you could not reach us. As we know this is a huge inconvenience for you this was not something we could control. If this happens again please feel free to stop by our office on your way into town so we can assist you with anything you may need. Again, we apologize for the experience you had with us!
