Mountain Splendor was one of the first cabins built in the Starr Crest Resort. The resort was a dream become reality by Randy Ussery Construction. Outrageous Cabins has been in business since 2009 and has grown from just 4 cabins to 53. The owner Thomas Gigliotti takes great pride in his cabins and sees to it that each Guest has the best possible stay and experience from the time of check-in to the time of departure.

Great place to stay !! Clean, fast easy check in and out. I have one suggestion. Since the cabin only has one bathroom, a mirror in the bedroom and loft would be great for your women guest.

Stayed for for 4 nights. Great location with great view. Cabin is very noisy. When a/c was running it was a constant humming sound. Units were not quiet. Hot tub on upper level would turn on and off all during the day and night creating more noise.

Bobby, Thank you for the feedback. We apologize the cabin was too noisy. Our A/C units are not on a concrete platform they are actually built up on wooden platforms and sometimes that makes it vibrate and hum more often than it should. We will have our maintenance check it out and and hopefully he can fix it. As far as the hot tub you can always turn the breaker off that is next to the hot tub so you don't have to listen to it running constantly. We do have it on a cycle to stay on all day/night to keep the water circulated. We hope you will still consider coming back to stay with us!
The cabin and service were awesome. Great location. Just a couple of small items that should be corrected: Pots and pans BADLY need replaced and kitchen utensils are seriously lacking. Spend $100 on these items and it will be perfect! But we will still be back.

Dave, We appreciate the feedback and we are replacing the pots & pans and kitchen utensils. We look forward to having you come back to stay with us.
First off as I stated in the title of my review this cabin is absolutely amazing. It has an amazing cabin feel, even though there is another cabin close you still get the secluded feeling. I can not wait to stay here again. The only thing I could ask for is maybe a few hangers in the closet for clothes but that is very minor. The hot tub was perfect, the furniture is not only beautiful but also very comfortable. I could go on and on with the reason we all loved this cabin.

Barbara, We are so glad to hear that you loved the cabin and the area. Unfortunately we don't put hangers in the closets anymore because people would take advantage and take them home with them. We do hope this won't stop you from coming back and staying with us again!!

Great cabin, great location. Did have a wasp issue inside the cabin. When I contacted the office they said we could come pick up a can of bug spray, took 2 days to kill the wasps since they were swarming near the ceiling of the cabin. Otherwise excellent experience.

Lisa, We apologize that the cabin had wasps, we do get the cabins treated by pest control monthly but bees and wasps are the hardest to keep away. We are glad that you enjoyed the cabin and we hope you will come back and stay with us again!
