Ordered a high-end PC, received a pc with completely inferior parts to the tune of thousands of dollars. Arrived Late, support was less than helpful, useless really. Manager was avoidant of me. Would not give me any straight answers. They refused to give timelines.

I ordered a PC on 9/11. I have been in constant communication about issues and I still haven’t gotten a replacement almost a month later. I am beyond upset. I did so much research, I’m personally and financially hurt. Does the tech supervisor care? No. They only offered me 15% off a purchase - which you get 10% off a purchase for buying a PC - so that’s not compensation. That’s a slap in the face and it felt really rude.

My 4-month-old $3,900.00 Origin PC laptop died. I contacted support and they had me ship it as an RMA to them. They set shipping as the slowest possible way; it took over 12 days to get from Las Vegas to the repair facility in Atlanta. The only updates I have received in the last 2 weeks is that it has been received and in the "triage phase". No one has told me what is wrong with it or a timeline. This machine is used for work; I had to go and purchase a new laptop because of the manufacturer failure of this one. After I reached out to support, I was told the repair team has it with no answers regarding what is wrong with it or a timeline. This is unacceptable for a 4-month-old laptop that is covered under warranty. Their customer service is unresponsive and does not care about the customer.

Dear Jeffrey, Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention, and we sincerely apologize for the frustration, delay, and impact on your work during this service process. We understand how critical your laptop is to your daily operations and that any extended period without your primary device is unacceptable. We deeply regret that our communications during the initial triage phase did not meet your expectations or give you the clear timeline you required. Your feedback regarding return transit times and communication frequency during repairs is being shared directly with our service leadership team to help us refine our processes moving forward. If you need any further support with your system now that it has arrived, please reach out to us directly via your open support ticket or by phone. We remain committed to standing behind our products and ensuring your laptop performs to the standard you expect from Origin PC.
I purchased the Origin EVO17‑S in early 2023, expecting the same durability and performance I experienced with an older Origin laptop I bought in 2012—which still works reliably today. Unfortunately, this newer model has been a disappointment. The EVO17‑S is significantly overpriced given its build quality and performance issues. Less than a year into ownership, the keyboard began malfunctioning, requiring me to ship the laptop back for repairs at a personal cost of $76. Even after service, several keys still randomly stop working. During one support call, an Origin agent acknowledged that recent models do not match the quality of past versions. Battery performance is also poor, dropping to around 15% after only two hours of continuous use. Additionally, the speakers produce very weak sound, making audio difficult to hear. Overall, the EVO17‑S lacks the reliability and value expected at its premium price point.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're sorry to hear that your EVO17-S has not lived up to the expectations set by your previous ORIGIN PC system, especially after having such a positive experience with your 2012 laptop. We understand how frustrating it is to continue experiencing keyboard issues after a repair, and we regret that this, along with your concerns about battery life and speaker performance, has left you disappointed. While battery runtime on high-performance gaming laptops can vary significantly depending on system configuration, power settings, and workload, we recognize that the overall ownership experience is what matters most. We would appreciate the opportunity to review your case again and determine whether there are any additional troubleshooting or service options available for the keyboard concerns you've continued to experience. If you're willing, please send us your order or ticket number, or give our support team a call so we can look into your system's history and follow up directly. We genuinely value your feedback. Comments like yours help us identify opportunities to improve both our products and the experience we provide to our customers, and we hope to have the opportunity to make this right.
About a month after starting to use the PC for work, I heard a loud pop and smelled smoke. Obviously, there was a major malfunction in the PC, but that wasn't the only major malfunction. Corsair was totally uninterested in my getting assistance in anything resembling a timely fashion. They have their process and that's that. No expediting. Can't pay for a quicker turnaround. They were going to take their sweet time on the repair and that was that. My only choice was to replace the PC. This company thinks that people can go without their main work PC for weeks and months. The PC itself was fine until the CPU and Circuit Board fried. I get that things happen, but this company was totally indifferent to my plight. Basically, I was on my own after plucking down thousands for a high end computer. Total time to repair was a little over a month. Repeating, things happen and I understand that, but when I placed that first panicked call to support and quickly realized that they didn't care not one little bit, I knew I'd be writing this review. Great PC. You just have to hope that nothing goes wrong.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're very sorry to hear that your system experienced a hardware failure so soon after you received it, especially since it was your primary work PC. We completely understand how stressful and disruptive that situation can be. While hardware issues can occur despite extensive testing, we know that what matters most is how we're there for our customers when they do. It's clear from your feedback that we fell short of the level of support and urgency you expected, and for that, we're sincerely sorry. Our repair process is designed to ensure every system is thoroughly diagnosed, repaired, and fully validated before it returns to its owner, but we also recognize that being without an essential computer for any amount of time is a significant inconvenience. Your comments about the repair timeline and your support experience have been shared with our team, as feedback like yours plays an important role in helping us improve. We genuinely appreciate both your honest feedback and your acknowledgment that you were happy with the system itself before the failure. We never want any customer to feel like they're facing an issue alone, and we hope we'll have the opportunity to restore your confidence in us in the future.
The prebuilt PC I received did not work and had to be sent back. I paid a premium for a prebuilt so that I could plug it in and use it right away. This should not happen.

Hi, Haydn. That's quite unfortunate and we're very sorry for the impression that your new system left you with. All our systems, including our Ready-to-Ship PC's, are tested and benchmarked for full functionality and perfection. Even with that, shipping damage and technological failure can, in rare occasions, still occur. Luckily, that's where we offer lifetime US based support and labor. If you haven't been in touch with our support crew for a replacement yet, please don't hesitate to call as soon as you're ready. If you'll respond to our inquiry of your order number (here through Trustpilot), we'll make sure to hook you up with a few extra goodies, too. We appreciate your purchase with us and look forward to making things right!
The initial sale was fantastic. They communicated well, delivered on time, it was good experience. Unfortunately a 10K GPU failed within the first year. Like am manufacturing defect. It has a three year warranty, but i can't get support to respond. I have offered to pay to have advance rma, or whatever, but still getting ghosted.

Chris, we're very sorry this is the experience you're having, especially with the great impression we made initially. Please be fully assured that you're not forgotten; we see that our team has been helping since last week and confirmed this morning (without knowledge of your review) that we're hoping to ship your replacement within 2-3 business days. We understand how frustrating this situation can be and truly appreciate your patience. Our goal is always to deliver the same level of service throughout the full ownership experience, and we’re committed to getting this resolved quickly for you. Technology can fail, but we're here to support you when it does. If you ever need escalated assistance, please don’t hesitate to call in and ask for a manager as well. Lifetime US based support and labor is here for you!
PC would not finish Windows install for me as a new user. The Windows partition for restore failed over and over. I had to buy a physical copy of Windows to to break into the PC and see what could possibly be wrong. Horrible experience for a $4000 PC. Why no physical restore media Origin? Won't buy a PC here again, they obviously aren't detail oriented.

Response from ORIGIN PC· May 12, 2026
Hi, Jeff. We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience, especially with a new system. Every ORIGIN PC undergoes extensive testing and benchmarking prior to shipment, so it’s concerning to hear you ran into issues during the initial Windows setup. Purchasing a separate copy of Windows should not have been necessary, and we apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this caused. We don’t include physical restore media by default, as modern systems are configured for a streamlined first-time Windows setup and allow recovery media to be easily created using built-in tools (or from Microsoft directly). That said, our support team is always available to walk you through this process or help resolve any issues quickly. Rather than having to troubleshoot on your own, we provide lifetime US based support that's available to all of our customers. Our team is available six days a week at 305-971-1000 (ext. 2) and would have been happy to help get you up and running right away. We’d appreciate the opportunity to make this right and will be following up with you directly.
