NEVER BOOK WITH One World Travels (OWT)!!! We spent 9 months preparing for our Iceland Ring Road tour and decided to use (OWT) out of Wyoming. We were connected with a sales rep named Jason, who was energetic and marketed a trip that we thought was ideal. We purchased the " Deluxe " tour which included transportation/ entry fee to the Katla Ice caves, the VOX Geothermal baths and an excursion to the Dettifoss waterfall at a cost of over $8,000! OWT does not have a descent online web page where you can log in and see your payments, you just pay them thousands of dollars using a link and hope this is applied to your account. We had to prove we made a payment 3 times. Jason's response to my questions/concerns was always " don't worry, it's going to be great". I felt we may have been scammed, so I contacted the hotel and tour company in Iceland to confirm we actually had bookings. When we got our final vouchers there were numerous errors and I had to contact OWT and have them fix these issues. Once on the trip, I asked the guide about the Ice caves, VOX baths and Dettifoss and he replied this tour does not go to any of those. We arrived at a different geothermal bath and in order for us to participate we had to pay the $156 entry fee. We purchased a specific tour package and didn't receive the elements we paid for. I immediately notified Jason at OWT and his response was " give me some time to check", we never heard back from him. The only communication was from his partner Joseph who stated several times " Jason's not in his seat" whenever I messaged OWT. I asked for a refund of $554, which is the cost if the items we never received. After 2 weeks we still have never been contacted. Jason at OWT marketed and sold a tour which is not in line with the Icelandic tour company. What Jason and OWT did is dishonest and deceitful!! I would NEVER recommend OWT. Do not use them unless you are willing to pay for a vacation you won't receive!!!!! 1 star company!!!!!
