Hello Agata, thank you for your review, and we understand the concern but to explain why it's required: identity verification exists to protect contributors and their earnings, and to make sure accounts belong to the people using them. It's handled through a dedicated verification provider rather than by us directly, and the data is processed in line with our privacy policy and applicable data protection law. It isn't used for anything beyond confirming identity. On the verification not completing: that can happen for a number of reasons, including image quality or the network connection used at the time. Rates vary considerably by project, language pair, and the skills required, and are shown before you decide whether to apply — nobody is asked to commit without seeing what a project pays. On withdrawals, the $300 annual limit some contributors encounter is set by PayPal rather than by us, and Payoneer and Tipalti are available as alternatives without that cap. On certifications and onboarding: passing a certification doesn't guarantee an invitation to a project, as assignments depend on client demand, locale quotas and capacity at the time. We recognise that's disappointing when work doesn't follow, and it's fair feedback that this should be clearer upfront. On your account and payment, we're limited in what we can share publicly about individual cases. Where an account is restricted, our Account Review team assesses each case individually, and payment eligibility is considered as part of that review.
