What you've described is a common sequence: when a second account is created with the same details, our system automatically flags it as a duplicate and restricts it, since each contributor can only hold one account. That's also very likely why the ID verification isn't going through. It's not a judgement on you, and it can be sorted out, it just needs the Account Review Team to unlink the duplicate and restore the right account. Hello, Thank you for your review, and we're sorry you've been left without a response for this long. There's something worth flagging that may explain it: OneForma relaunched on 5 August with a new support and ticketing system, and tickets raised before that date did not carry over during the migration. A ticket opened in July would fall into that group, which would explain the silence — unfortunately it means a fresh request would need to be raised for it to reach anyone. That's clearly not a good experience, and we're sorry it wasn't communicated better at the time. One thing worth checking: if your earlier contacts were made before 5 August, tickets from that period unfortunately didn't carry over during our system migration, which would explain why some went unanswered — a fresh request would be needed in that case. On the verification itself, a few things commonly cause the selfie step to fail: completing it without a VPN or proxy active, staying on one device throughout rather than switching partway, and making sure the lighting is even with the face fully in frame.
