Never received the product. Delivery was delayed over a weekend so product was completely ruined. It was destroyed and not delivered. I never received any notification from nomnom about it. Can not reach them on the phone no matter how many times I've called and waited on hold. Eventually it tells me to leave a voicemail. What kind of company can’t bother to answer their phone during business hours? Non-existent customer service. I will never order anything from that outfit again. They haven’t responded to my inquiry about the order nor refunded my money. Now I have to go through the process of disputing the charge with MasterCard. This company is not worth the aggravation. Buyer beware!

Shipping Suddenly Unreliable I started using Nom Nom not quite a year ago and my dogs absolutely love the food. Some of the packets seem a little off in size, with smaller or larger amounts, but that typically isn't too much of an issue. However, three shipments in a row now my order has been late. It is supposed to be shipped two-day Fed Ex and each time I've received a message from FedEx that the order is delayed by a day. Two reasons why that's not cool - 1. when the order didn't arrive I was stuck with no food for my dogs for two meals and had to improvise. Dogs can easily get upset stomachs from switching food. 2) it is summer. The last time when the order arrived the food was no longer cool to the touch. We had to throw out an entire month's worth of food. The company did send us a replacement box which was supposed to ship overnight, but ended up taking two days. Now, as I am typing this I am waiting for my delivery that was supposed to come yesterday. Supposedly they told me they put extra dry ice in so it should still be OK, but if it's not, then that's another couple of days I'll be without food. I'm assuming this is a FedEx issue, not a Nom Nom issue, but it doesn't matter whose fault it is - you still have no food when it doesn't arrive on time. I'd encourage Nom Nom to hold FedEx accountable and if they can't get it together, switch shipping companies.

My VERY First deliver from Nom Nom was completely Thawed out! The shipping box was soaking wet from ALL the dry ice that had melted! (ALL OF IT WAS MELTED) every pack of food was thawed and WARM! Customer service was very nice and immediately sent me out another shipment on the house… The second shipment arrived again the outer cardboard box was soaking wet, all of the dry ice has melted but the food packets were still frozen so I kept them… I just received my third shipment,UGH…. The cardboard shipping box was again soaking wet and the bottom fell out carrying it into the house, all of the packets were thawed out and work”coolish to the touch” but completely Thawed AGAIN! They offered to send me another one but I refused, because they were slightly cool (borderline Warm) to the touch so I thought I would try it… It completely filled my Freezer, So I have no room for groceries… again they offered to replace it but I declined because my freezer was full! Their problem is they pack a small amount of dry ice in a cardboard box, that sits in 130° FedEx truck for 3 to 4 days! And I live in Florida, and the packaging just does not hold up, and they will not stay frozen! It scares me to death! I don’t trust it as far as I can throw it… Customer service reached out again and offered me another shipment but I declined because I have no room for it! I am a retired epidemiologist, and these people have no idea how viruses and bacteria works, because the rep told me that as long as the bags were “cool to the touch” they’re ok! This is so far off base, it boggles the mind! Bacteria can thrive in frozen weather, and how long were the packets thawed out in the back of that 130° FedEx truck for four days? I guarantee you enough time for bacteria and viruses to grow at an exponential rate… Until tell Nom nom, steps up their game two Omaha steaks shipping procedures, they are going to make some poor dog very very sick! My shipping box actually fell apart trying to carry it in the house because it was soaking wet from melted dry ice! I am giving them one more chance and I’m moving on. Update: 9/10/21: well, as much as I hated doing it, I moved on….I just have a “Gut Feeling” about these guys! I mean 2 out of 3 shipments Melted and warm, Boxes falling apart…..nah, I LOVE my Dog TOO much to take a chance here…..I’m trying “Ollies” this time, hopefully they have a little more “Shipping Expertise” than ol Nom Noms……..but my Dog sure loved their food! I’ll give em THAT for sure

The food is nothing looks like all of the pictures on Nom Nom's SNS and all of review that on Instagram. The first bag I opened was more rice than chicken, so I wrote comment on Nom Nom's Instagram, unfortunately instead answering my concern they just deleted my comment! because of afraid other people see that I commented rice is more than protein. Very dishonest, I believe most their good reviews are fake. Also after I emailed them about the action they did on their Instagram were very dishonest and question about the amount of protein, they wrote me back: [ Starting out, our Turkey, Pork, and Beef recipes will include more ground meat than potatoes (by weight). Then after being gently cooked, the protein and the potatoes weigh nearly the same (the protein still weighs slightly more than the potatoes). As you'd expect, the potatoes will swell as they absorb the moisture from the surrounding fresh ingredients. The ground meat will cook down; so 25 grams of gently cooked beef looks to be much less than 25 grams of gently cooked potatoes. Each ingredient is prepared at the temperature required to ensure the nutrients are maintained. ] Clearly that meant, Grain + Vaggies are more than meat, If I want feed my dogs rice and veggies I would just feed them my human organic meal. Nom Nom should learn about dog food before they making it.

Let me start by saying that my dog likes the food. It is with sadness that I am giving only two stars because I think the food is good, however, the delivery is horrible at best. The customer service is not very helpful at all and my dog has been left without food on few occasions. I even ordered an extra shipment so that I can have food on hand when the shipment is delayed, and the EXTRA shipment got delayed/cancelled also. Needless to say, it has been a headache. I have a German Shepherd dog with a very sensitive gut so any change to his diet results in loose stools. Not cool Nom Nom.
