Nic has the repair process down to a science. Great communication from start to finish. The bonus is the YouTube stream he provides where you get to watch him evaluate the issue and do the repair. Your HomePod transforms from a paperweight to the speaker you remembered before it died. Thanks Nic!

Could not have had a better experience. His description of problem was exactly what my HomePod demonstrated. He fixed same evening he received, and was on its way back the very next day. He even live streamed repair while I was asleep ( he’s on opposite coast ). Great communication. 5 stars 🌟, or gold star, or an ata boy. It was great.

Update: Nic apologized to me profusely and I understand that he is busy. I am going to proceed with having him repair the HomePod given his sincerity and candor and how apologetic and honest he was. Did not reply to my emails after the initial quite reasonable offer to repair my bricked HomePod. Poor communication, I am glad I didn’t just blindly send it to him since emails have gone days without a response. Most disappointing, I was hopeful that my HomePod would be resurrected but as the saying goes, if it seems too good to be true, it often is. Not saying he doesn’t do great work or not because I never got that far. He simply did not respond to my emails which made me very leery to just ship off my device to him.

Response from Nic's Fix· Sep 11, 2023
I have to split my time between two day jobs, raising a newborn, and HomePod repairs. It's very difficult to stay on top of the dozens of emails I get a day! I try to set expecations by stating on my website that it can cake 2-3 days to get a reply from me. I saw you email me two days ago, then again yesterday, before leaving this review today. When people send another email, it bumps it to the end of my unread mail list, basically putting you in the back of the line for replies again :( Don't hesitate to reply to my latest email if you still want to proceed. Thank you
Great work, professional service. Nic's repair fixed my HomePod perfectly. I am a hardware EE and I greatly appreciated the extensive knowledge of homepods Nic possesses. The component & circuit level analysis Nic provides on his site is quite impressive and better than what I've seen some in actual hardware design reviews.

Super thankful I came across Nic's Fix! I had a HomePod that died out of warranty. I was ready to throw it out or sell for parts, but came across Nic's shop. $60 later, I have a working HomePod again! Nic is super communicative, very speedy, and fixes everything on a live stream so that you can watch the magic happen. Would highly recommend to anyone in this situation!
