I am so very pleased with Neighbors Bank. They have quite a system and a very progressive mortgage process. It was easily understood, and very well designed. They helped me stay well informed and on task. My loan officer was personable, available, and hard working. This was the 8th home purchase experience for me and it was by far the best. That says a lot considering the stressful real estate market these days. Highly recommend!

From beginning to end, David N. and his team made a potentially painful homebuying process super easy and fun. They even returned phone calls and/or e-mails after business hours. Excellent phone etiquette and super personable people!

I can not say enough kind things about Ashley AND Kayla and truly wish they had a higher rating than a 10, they more than earned a 1000!!!! They were prompt in answering any and all questions I had and I had a million of them!!!! Their knowledge of the process is over and beyond and I have no doubt that I would not have closed on my house in under 35 days without her!!! I consider them family now, not just a loan officer!!!

Entering my information on their website was a bad idea. I believed that they would respect my selection, "I'm planning to purchase in (6+ months)". I never got a loan officer call me prior to making a hard pull on my credit file. They never gave the chance or respect to identify my needs and timeline before hurting my personal credit file. I would've loved that they reach out to me and run my credit closer to my planned purchase timeframe. I do NOT recommend at all!

I am not very happy with the outcome of our experience. Sad to say we received the news that we did not qualify for the home loan a day before Thanksgiving. I feel like we were being mislead the whole time I was so excited due to the fact that our loan officer was everything is going great. Now in the very beginning of this process I specifically told her that I did not have a job in the area we were moving to just yet because I wanted to make sure we had a place to live beings it was 3 hours from where we currently live, and the fact that my husband was already traveling and spending an excessive amount of money on gas. I was under the impression that a letter of explanation about this situation and that I was going to find a new job in the area would suffice. Unfortunately it did not it’s called trailing spouse. I can’t continue to work at my current job and stay with my family 3 nights a week to continue working until I find another job and get qualified for the loan. Because I would be considered not living in the home we would have just purchased. I’m sorry but this whole experience was very traumatizing due to my anxiety. I feel like we were mislead from the very beginning and I wasted my time. Not too mention the money we’re out of for appraisal fees!!!!

I hadn’t even filled out an application. I was just talking to someone and looking at what rates they could provide me. Then I get a letter from my homeowners insurance that Neighbors is now my mortgage company. What?!?

Best experience in my 1st hime purchase. Highly recommend; they answered all my questions in a professional manner & made the purchase easier than I had originally thought!!

This was the most positive, thorough experience when purchasing my first home. Jake, my loan officer and Cyleste my realtor went above on beyond. They both answered my many many questions and calmed my nerves especially during closing. Have already began referring family and friends!
