Too much static. Difficulty with volume levels. Ear canal irritation.

Hello Helen, Squealing or feedback can occur for many different reasons. We have provided some of the more common reasons below to help you troubleshoot your issue: 1. Check for ear wax: earwax build-up is a common cause of acoustical feedback. When a sound wave hits a solid block of earwax, that sound wave shatters, sending sound every which-away including back out the ear to get re-amplified by the hearing aid microphone. 2. Check the fit: A loose-fitting hearing aid allows amplified sound waves to escape the ear canal around the hearing aid, reach the mic and off we go again in a feedback loop. 3. Speaker Placement: If the direction of the receiver is off and pointing directly into the wall of the ear canal, it can cause the amplified sound to bounce back into the hearing aid and the whistling begins. 4. Hearing Aid damage: The sound tube may become damaged over time by aggressive cleaning, the mic may have gotten pushed in, or there could be a crack in the hearing aid casing. To start with, it takes ONE phone call to make an order, but a call, plus a call-back to make a return? And then, lots of jabber-jabber about up-grading, etc, etc, but pretty useless to us, as I hated these hearing aids! I sure hope my return will be as easy-peasy as getting these things!

The girl on LINE who helped me was outstanding! She was able to direct me if even from afar. I do need time to be able to evaluate the aids as I use them.

Received hearing devices. Followed exact instructions. The left hearing device worked great. The right hearing device was faulty and would not function. I tried all the different sized hearing domes and changes in set up/volume. The right hearing device would emit a loud reverb tone whenever you would speak or other sounds were presented. Contacted your company and the decision was made to have the device sent back. I mailed the device back on June 20, 2023, costing me $25.00 to mail the device. Not sure why a new customer should have to pay $25.00 to have a device mailed back to you when it was faulty when the device was received. Because of this experience, I no longer want another device and would like a full refund for the returned device.

To the positive these devices will upgrade my non-directional hearing devices used while hunting. As far as speech no matter how much I work to adjust the devices speech is garbled up close and I can hear every word spoken for example in the large waiting room at the doctors office even on the lowest setting for each ear. Since I can use them I will keep them.

Upgraded to Sigma plus and very happy. The right aide was defective but Customer Support was very helpful and are promptly sending a replacement. Love the bluetooth feature!
