Bought an Asphalt last Christmas after a Triple bypass 4 months earlier. I bought it because it allows me ride with or with out power assist helping to regain my leg strength while enjoying biking. This is a Great bike! I gave my wife an Asphalt ST for Christmas this past year. Due to a hip issue she had to stop riding her bike. The Asphalt ST because of its design allows her to enjoy biking again Definitely recommend Mokwheel bikes.

The actual rating is 4.5 stars but I made it 5 based on the most recent customer service experience. I bought 2 Mokwheel Asphalt ST 2 1/2 years ago. They are wonderful e-bikes and have generally held up very well. Seems to be high quality except in one area: Brackets holding things like power up button module and screen are plastic and will tend to break. Generally an easy fix or work around but in every other area they are high quality. In the 1st year, I had a issue with "brake lever error" which an adjustment was able to solve. They also sent me a replacement brake lever assembly. In the 2nd year I had trouble getting through to customer service. Frustrating although I had no serious issue. Just this past week, I called as my monitor was showing a battery that needed to be charged when it was fully charged. All it needed was a reset on the monitor and got a hold of customer service and they walked me through it. Problem solved. Original shipping was accurate and quick and I am so very pleased with the bikes. My wife and I ride frequently.

I was sent a bike with defective paint/damaged paint. I asked for a refund and directions on how to ship back and they instead kept offering increasing amounts of discount along with touch up paint. Mokwheel doesn’t listen and sends ignorant responses. Despite having a US address and every indication they are a US based company, they are not. This is a Chinese company and you will be dealing with foreign customer service. These bikes are cheap garbage. DO NOT BUY!!!!

All of our e-bikes undergo thorough inspections prior to leaving the factory to ensure both functionality and appearance are in proper condition. However, during long-distance transportation and handling, there is indeed a possibility that minor cosmetic issues may occur. We fully understand your expectations regarding product appearance and your preference to resolve this matter through a return. During our previous communication, we attempted to offer several solutions, including touch-up paint and a partial refund, in an effort to provide a more convenient resolution. Bike has been doing great so far. Been using it for travel, and it has also survived a crash! Only complain I have would be the tires, from experience, the stock tires punctured the tubes every time I rode. Might be something to look into.

Mokwheel's resources for researching and purchasing my Obsidian were excellent. Similarly, my delivery was speedy and the resources for assembling and quickly understanding my bike were great. I have had the bike for a few months now and have been very satisfied with it. I haven't put it to the ultimate test of the desert trips it was purchased for, but so far, my testing has been positive. Comfortable, sturdy and fun!

We purchased two bikes at the same time from Mokwheel. While we had 5-6 problems initially, Mokwheel did respond quickly each time and we were mostly satisfied with the results. The two bikes (Obsidian and Tarmac) are working well for our needs. Miles per battery charge have been surprisingly high for us.
