Not for working parents
We can't stand the academic side of DMSA. It's been terrible. Such a great concept to have a sports charter, but that's about it. I recommend getting rid of the onsite option, especially for younger ages. Neither our 8 year old, nor 11 year old do much Smartfox while in the presence of a DMSA teacher, which is where they get graded from. This is basically a homeschool sports charter in its infancy. Great potential, but parents you must be part of the learning process of your children's academic growth - this school reinforces that.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the academic experience at DMSA hasn’t met your expectations. While we're proud of the program’s concept, we know the day-to-day experience—especially for younger students—is just as important. We're actively working to improve how students engage with SmartFox and how our teachers support learning onsite. You're right that parent involvement is key in this model, and we appreciate families who partner with us to help it succeed. We value your input and hope you'll consider reaching out directly so we can better understand your experience and continue to improve. —The DMSA Team at Method Schools
